Hi there,

Has anyone else experiencing a loose volume rocker on the Note 4?

I love the phone but it seems a bit wobbly, it doesn't rattle if the phone is shaken but there's definitely movement there.
I feel it should be a lot tighter.

How is it for any of you fellow Note 4 users?

Thanks in advance!

They are all slightly loose, including the power button too. It is no problem though and I do believe that in design theory and execution they need to leave a micron of space around these buttons so that when you depress them they don't physically scrape the sides of the cut out that they sit within.

Thank you for your reply Risley, I was hoping as much, I was concerned I may need to exchange it!

No, don't return it for that. I can almost guarantee the next one to a million will be the same. Even the Galaxy Alpha I had for a week wile I waited for the 4 to arrive had slightly loose buttons.

Good news is that the home buttons on the Note 4 are NOT loose/crooked like they were on a very high percentage of the Note 3's.

Well my note 4 has a loose power button and slight play to the home button when lightly touched. Also, there's a minor imperfection on the screen's oleophobic coating right under the home button. Fingerprints only show up under there and are hard to remove. Despite these minor build issues I'd rather hold on to this one as oppose to getting another with bigger issues. In the end though, return it if it really bothers you. From my own experience however, each device will have one imperfection or another and there's simply no such thing as a flawless device. BTW, one way to see how much an imperfection should bother you is by looking at the phone's disassembly videos on YouTube to get an idea of how the parts fit together and weather the imperfection your experiencing are normal due to how the device was engeneered. For example, I'm not concerned on how the buttons feel on mine as they're not technically adhered to anything but rather free floating within the frame of the phone. YouTube cleared that up for me. I hope that helps.
take care and good luck
