getting ready to take the plunge... no worries to massive brick status as I'm desperately needing a new phone anyway.

should hopefully have some feedback in a day or so.

edit:
was not able to get it working properly. could be because i'm on the ND4 baseband, but had to revert back to my Conquest 11.3 backup.

it could not launch the android initial setup.
buttons were non-responsive
touchscreen also not functional.

that was also after installing it after 2 full wipes as well as choosing different options in the aroma installer.

If you're running conquest on nd4, you have essentially downgraded and are no longer fully nd4.

As long as I can revert to my trusty backup of conquest 11.3 in case of critical failure, I'm in for the long haul. With that said, can one theoretically continue to switch between the 2 basebands/ROMs by simply pushing stock first?

I only ask because this phone will very soon become decommissioned into an extracurricular plaything. I know I'll be cutting and hacking it in a manner I would never try on a phone I needed to use on a daily basis :D

If this is going to be ur second phone, go right ahead. The worst thing you'll prolly mess up is the baseband

Just seeing if anyone has any suggestions.

I Went from running the VaeVictus Kernel to MG5 stock rooted. Updated to ND4 using the MG5 to ND4 zip. Made sure everything was working, updated SuperSU and Busybox and then attempted to install this ROM. It installs successfully every time but I have only goten it to boot twice, both in the stock ROM.

In the installer I am choosing the Google Launcher, Stock ROM, Stock MMS, and no additional apps. The first time it booted successfully, it showed the initial Samsung screen then went black for several minutes before finally showing it was updating android. On loading the home screen a number of apps reported they crashed, including the phone, but I was able to access the notification center and tried to launch Link2SD to fix the mount points. At this point the phone froze. Screen was black and wouldn't take any inputs, screen or keys. Attempts to reboot failed.

The second time I installed the stock ROM (after recovering my stable stock ND4 and first doing a factory reset) It froze at the lock screen and wouldn't accept any inputs/screen touches

I uninstalled link2SD in case that was causing any issues and reinstalled using the options for the nexus launcher, the stock kernel and the stock MMS app with no other apps selected after doing a factory reset. On boot it showed the galaxy overclocking screen with the spacey picture then wen black, played music for a bit and then nothing. When I picked up the phone to reboot, the top part of the screen would show info, but only if the phone was held horizontal. It appeared to be informing me of crashed apps. I could hit the OK button, and also hold the lock key to bring up the shut down menu. So the phone took inputs, but wasn't displaying to the screen correctly.

I then tried doing the same but with the OC kernel. It did the same thing.

From the brief interaction with it, this ROM seems pretty great. I would love to get it installed. But am not in any rush as I have a stable ROM to restore to. Thanks for any help!

Okay everyone: I remade the aroma installer. In fact I kinda borrowed and modified a pre made one. That should fix install issues. Right now I am remaking the rom, again. It won't boot on my phone. I think I added too many start up scripts XD and idk which to remove and where they are so I'll start over<br/>
