Hi everyone... passing by... to found out if everyone has enabled tethering .

I use this app, didn't have to change settings, just made my own network name and password.

Yes, and there's a few that work right from the Play Store, but this one has been the easiest for me due to no settings to mess with.
I haven't found one that doesn't bring up the native hotspot notification in the notification bar that works, but no issues on my end.

Im pretty sure.. mostly all work but none bypass native hotspot...

For some reason I had to keep my wifi off, put the method back to auto, and keep my wifi mode on g.
Everything else is the same settings. Pretty sure that's the only difference on my L70-Metro.

The other 3 apps I mentioned don't have many settings, they'll basically either work or not, but will most likely show the native hotspot in the notification bar. They work for some, not all, just from my personal experience.

I've been using tetherfy, so far so good. I haven't used it in awhile though.

Wifi tether router also has several recommended settings for individual phones listed on their website if anyone has issues.

I've been using Klink to tether it works great once you get it dialed in right on the phone and computer.

Ok so i set up wifi tether router and it works on my lil girls tab but when i go to my pc i can load google,facebook,yahoo all just fine but cant load any other sites. I set it up like u guys did was wondering if u guys have same prob. Please if you know how to fix this it would be awesome if you could let me know how. Thanks

If u are using IE make sure u hav 11 if u are using chrome or any other u hav to use an user agent switcher and us ie9 agent.

I downloaded a user agent switcher and it has ie9 so i switched it to that and went to google chrome and it still is not working :;
