Why would you remove the radio and activation app? o_O

As for Google keyboard, you have to copy its library over to the system, then it will work fine. That being said, I've actually had problems with Google keyboard causing a gapps crash at startup.

Could you list exactly what you removed?

Anything non-essential LG. (Videoplayer, calendar, quickremote, qslide, q-anything, connections optimzer. I plan to remove LGATCMD and WFD later, causes unneeded lag)
GoogleCalendarSync
I removed radio/activation b/c why would you have an inactive phone? Also, there's a radio.zip already floating around.
Ermm...nothing else Google, only the Calendar.
I also have removed the overlays folder on system.
If you get a gapps crash, it doesn't matter actually..it hinders not anything Google.

What if for some reason you need to reactivate? Say you dropped the plan for a few months, or switched phones temporarily for some reason. Some people had to run the activation after updating with the ROM. Just saying, it's not big, and doesn't do anything so it's not using resources. No reason to remove it.

BTW, always check for any libraries before making anything a system app. Many apps have libraries that don't get moved when you make it a system app and they may cause problems, some more noticeable than others, such as Google keyboard force closing. Hangouts might work, but you'll be missing some features, like video chat. Unfortunately this can make creating your own ROM a bit of a longer process, but in the end it's much more stable.

Can anyone give me a suggestion for a keyboard that doesn't need libs (and one that I won't get copyright/sued?)?
Also, do you guys want AOSP apps? I'm planning on getting AOSP SMS/Music/Deskclock.
Maybe the AOSP lockscreen too, with that build.prop edit.
*GASP* G2 TWEAKSBOX HAS THE AOSP FEATURE!

Forget that, I'm leaving the LG lockscreen there.
A changelog of what's to come, if this version works:
Google Keyboard actually working this time thanks @donjuro
AOSP MMS, DeskClock, and calculator.
GoogleGallery and Google Camera
Activation app!
Removed the recovery.img included in the zip.
Removed Qualcomm NLP items and WFD.
Removed dummy APNs.
Removed QVoice libs
Removed LGHome and theme.
Removed LGInstall.apk and SetupWizard/LGStartupWizard
Removed itsOn and its dependencies in build.prop

Hey! Got it down to 366 MB! Now I just need to get the activation app.

Alright guys just a few minutes 'till (Beta) 2 goes online. Now, I'm calling this a beta because I cannot check if profile upgrades (used to get back on LTE after a ROM flash) actually work. Maybe something's off with my Virgin account, because I cannot update my profile. It tries to then gets an authentication error. However, 3G works perfectly fine.
*I left in LG Gallery because without it, you cannot set a wallpaper for the home screen. (Trebuchet crashes, I think because I need the wallpaper-cropper from CM) Unlike TouchWiz, there is no setting to change the wallpaper in Display. (Which is horrible. Why would they base homescreen wallpapers on LG Home? Why not 2 different things?!)

I never liked supercharger, but I started a new job so I'm not gonna have much time anymore. Hopefully you guys can continue from where I left off. Update gapps, even if it's just the play store and Google services, see if you guys can get both the kernel and radio to install. We'll have to find a way to flash the radio without overwriting the recovery partition (I'm pretty sure the new radio overwrites it).

I couldn't update profile either. A file manager would be good to add in there. I had no way to install an app off the SD card that would allow me to reboot into recovery. So I just had to use adb.
Other than that, it was great to see so much free space on this phone. :)

I'll keep trying as you update.

you can use adb to do that I beleive, someone please correct me if im wrong and adb reboot to recovery will still wipe the data partition

open up your cmd window in windows or terminal for linux

adb shell reboot recovery

and it should reboot to recovery, or you could download a terminal app or root browser to your desktop/laptop and use cmd and adb to install it

adb install nameofapp.apk

i'm gonna look into modding our power menu to add reboot to recovery, but until then the way i mentioned above or apps will work just fine

That's what I was saying I had to do. I didn't have the option to download anything, because the rom locks you out of the network. I couldn't install Rom Toolbox from a backed up apk, which would allow me to reboot recovery with one click, because there was no file manager.

yikes i didnt know it locked you out of the network, im still on stock rooted zv4 and have not tried this rom yet. its early in the morning and im not wearing my glasses lol so sorry if i misread your comment.
