Root Help,Please. Soft Bricked nothings working!

Hi to all, I hope I'm in the correct forum, if not I apologize and point me in the right direction :) . I know my phone is old, but I love it, it's a Pantech p9060 Gingerbread, Android 2.3.4 . I rooted the phone late August, went smooth no issues. I kept the stock version right, so one evening I went into the Rom Installer pro and was checking out a Rom app and was connected to my pc, and my shepherd got all in my lap, somehow hitting keys, and the next thing I know my phone was in some other mode installing a wrong version.Stupid I know, but I've been trying to recover the OS,(if that's the problem) for over a week, searching forums everywhere and XDA said it sounds like it's soft bricked. It comes on, goes to the custom boot image and from there it will stop(like in boot loop) and sometimes even give 2 beeps. I tried resetting to factory default- didn't work, tried update from sd card, says it can't find the file.? I'm like just stuck guys and if someone even can offer to help me rebuild or do what ever it is I need to do, I'll be forever grateful. I have Titanium backup on my sd, I can get into Fastboot, but does nothing. I'm backed up through my google drive account as well. PC Suite wont connect to it now,it did at first in safe mode, Can anyone help me with this. I'm desperate, and as bad as I need my phone, it's also a problem for me to just quit and give up on it,,I know I can fix it with you guys help! Please....:(

Hey tsandra, welcome to our AndroidForums!

Sorry to hear of your issues, but I've moved your thread over to the Pantech Pocket all-things-root area for you since it appears that "P9060" model implies/is the "Pocket" version of this device.

Hopefully you'll find some good information in here or from the members that frequent here.

Best of luck!

Hey tsandra,

Where did you find that link?

edit: was it from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1426984? [kudos and thanks to our own EarlyMon for finding that ].

It's pretty unreadable (to me and I'm guessing most users) and since I can't really tell what it is, I've removed the link (and subsequently restored it :)).

I found a YouTube video that seems to link to that (Korean?) page...but the video is not in English and appears to be incomplete.

edit: note: I don't know if the instructions on that XDA link will be applicable to your device, but maybe there's something useful in there that could help you get things going again (be careful, though).

Thanks scarey alien; the link was a you tube video that led to this page:> Self Upgrade ..
I tried using translation , it worked, although when I thought I was getting somewhere with the files, they have broken links/or no longer existed. So a waste of time( i mean alot of time :) ) I've decided to try the Fastboot and try to write or find a script to "maybe" just install a rom? I'm not sure how to do that, but I'm good at understanding and using my computer so you can look to see my name on here bunches. :p I'm gonna get this one way or another, but i really want you guys sending me tips or guidance please...I'm going right now to check out the page you sent me, and I thank you lots for helping me. I'll build this thing if i have to..L0l..:pcguru:
