This rom is based on the newest 2.1v3 leak(4th leak). It is pretty much stock sense based.

APK's zip-aligned
Navigation and all other stock apps seem to be working good.
Gmail pics are working on my phone(hope others can confirm this)
Themed battery widget(I didn't make the widget I only themed it to match. Was one of the free battery widgets in market)
I have been running this rom for a few days and everything seems to be working good. Let me know if you have any problems.

Verison 3.01
Overclock up to 710mhz thanks to IVANMMJ's OC Kernel
A few minor graphics fixes
Removed Stock apps and amazon mp3 app
Install setCPU and use autodetect frequencies to overclock.
Patches to pick your battery indicator can still be used with this release.

Version 3.02
New kernel overclock up to 864 or so but I don't recommend going over 768. It will very by phone after that if you can handle it. It will probably lock your phone and need a battery pull. Thanks to Zanfur for great work on this kernel. I have made an update to go from 3.01 to 3.02 so you don't need to wipe.....3.01to3.02 update


***Warning apps2sd may shorten the lifespan of your sd card. If you would like to run this rom without apps2sd do not partition your sd card***
To get apps2sd to work you need to:
1. backup your sd card(copy all your files on to pc)
2. boot into recovery
3. select Partition sd card
4. select Partition sd
5. when that is done select SD:ext2 to ext3 you can use the default values when it asks
6. Flash rom then you can copy all your files back to your sd card.

The word ERIS on the top of the screen is actually the battery indicator in case you didn't realize that....
Also on first boot you will see a custom Icon for the market. Unfortunately the market is installing an updated apk automatically which will revert that icon to the original market icon. If you want the red icon go into settings/applications/manage applications, find market and uninstall updates.

To make it easier to switch to whichever battery indicator you prefer to use I have made updates to flash over the rom. Just flash them like you would install a rom but DO NOT do a data or davlik wipe first. You must have one of the ErisLightning roms installed first. You can flash back and forth if you want to use different battery indicators at any time.

I really like the look of this ROM. But is there a way to just change the battery indicator? I'd rather have the regular one (but red) or the circular one that seems to be floating around somewhere...

Sweet! Thanks. I prefer the circle, myself. I also changed the boot animation to metropolis, which works well with this ROM IMO. Will I be able to flash it over the ERIS ROM?

yeah you can just flash it over the rom if you already are running the first one. I'm having trouble with uploading tonight, they keep freezing half way through, but will get it up as soon as i can.

If you open the apk and find the png file for the icon usually found in the res/drawable or res/drawablemdpi folders then you can edit it with any editor you want...I use gimp which is free and has lots of options...then just drop your edited png back into the folder that it was in and resign the apk. Then just reinstall it on your phone. Some apps you need to uninstall the old one first then reinstall your edited one. There are some automated scripts for signing apks if you search here or on xda...

yes gimp is software for your pc sort of like photoshop only its free....Gimp

What invisible lockscreen are you looking for? There are a few threads about how to do that on here...if you can show me one you are interested in I will see what I can do for you. Also what kinda keyboard are you looking for? I personally use swype myself but you can install keyboards just like any other app....

I have never used the security lockscreen so never knew it was blue lol but I will look into that also...I am in prison right now(because I work here) but will look at it when i get some time at home....

Searched through this and my current ROM. This does not have any Bluetooth notify icons that I could find.

I did not change the bluetooth icons in this rom from what they are in the stock rom. So whatever you had in the stock rom should be the same that shows up on this rom. I can't look for sure as I'm not allowed to carry my phone at work which sucks lol....I also don't use bluetooth so I'm not sure what the stock icons were. I think i saw some blue ones when I was working on the rom but I left them blue since it is "blue"tooth.
