S5, G3, Oneplus One or Note 3?

It's hard to make a recommendation without knowing what you're looking for. Is price an issue? Do you like larger screens? Any specific features?

I'd get the OnePlus One.

No screen issue, I love big screen phones. I never thought I would use this feature but I love the ir blaster. Oneplus One looks nice plus constant updates from cyanogen. I love Samsung features though. Decisions decisions.

IMO - the major differences b/w the OPO and the Note 3 are the non-removable battery and lack of SD card in the OPO. Yes the OPO has 64gb internal memory, but it would be even cooler if you had the ability to add removable media on top of that.

Also, the Note has a stylus and built-in multi-app functionality, if that's your thing.
I have the OPO; my brother has the Note 3. We both like certain features of each other's phones, but for our individual needs we got the phone that suits us best.
I am wondering how long my OPO battery will last before it fails to hold a day's worth of charge. . .

The OPO does have a removable battery I think (the battery cover is hard to remove). Those two are decent devices.

Plan on selling my iphone 5s and getting one of these guys. Which one should I get?

I had a 5 and left it for the G2, then I got the 5s which was junk and went to the HTC one m8. But was only doing that to hold me over until the note 4 came out. Why didn't I go with the note 3? I didn't like the plastic chrome look around it. I like the metal. Absolutely love this phone and so does my wife. We both thought we would never leave apple and love android and we were wrong once we got around the curve.

Yeah I play with the note 4 at a T-Mobile store, it was love at first sight. Samsung always puts it's all in the Note series.

Nice. I heard the Note series have sweet battery life. Plus with me bring in college, I could definitely use that.

Yea I'm in the same boat, I had the HTC M8, it was nice, but it lacked that samsung UI that I'm used to, and battery life was so so. The note 4 is nice, but once I put hyperdrive and overclocked it, I didn't notice much difference.

I will give it to Samsung, their ui is the most flexible (IMO). I don't like onscreen buttons so I kinda ruled out the M8 (G3 too now that I think about it). Note FTW.

It will take a second to get used to the size. But once you do, you won't want to go back. I picked up the HTC again and thought crap this is small.

I played with it again today. It feels nice. I must admit, Samsung did a great job with it and the alpha. I got to compare it with the Note 3 as well. They are roughly the same size in a sense. Both felt extremely comfortable (for me). Either one is a great choice.

I have never seen so much love for Touchwiz. Glad to see it has improved a lot since I last used it. I am biased since I have the OPO but if I had to choose, it would be OPO then Note4, then Note3 then S5 and last G3. I am up in the air on how well the Nexus 6 will be with the much larger price point than previous models. Good luck with your purchase!

I have the OPO and my son has an S5, will never change my OPO for a Samsung phone. The OPO came unlocked for any carrier, has a huge screen, plenty of RAM, powerful Snapdragon processor, CM that is way customizable, rooting and unlocking bootloader is a breeze, constant updates, battery life is awsome and the price, the price is unbeatable. At this price I can cycle my phone once a year without ripping my pockets.

At least for me, it's not bad as people make it out to be. Definitely better on Note 3 and later. Google put the nexus 6 in a bad position (IMO).
