She told me the change in the Turbo was for that purpose.

Looking at the Verizon website it does not list the Turbo as a supported HD device (yet).

There was a lag when they turned the Maxx on to VoLTE ... perhaps that is being repeated with the Turbo.

... Thom

Yep.. I called when I notice no voice and data at the same time.. They said I needed Advanced 1.0 which give VoLTE, then after getting off the call I got a text saying they will push an update later, so I assume the 21.21.15 is part way there but not complete

Safe Mode will disable all apps that you added without uninstalling them. This can help zero in on unexplained problems.

With the power on ... press the Power key.
When the dialog appears long press on Power off
When the dialog appears press OK

It will reboot into Safe Mode

To return to normal ... reboot (power off/power on).

@ralphlexie098 had his phone attacked by his dog destroying the screen. He wanted to send it in for replacement but had ho way to do a Factory Data Reset with the destroyed screen. He used Android Device Manager to remotely request the Factory Data Reset and it solved his problem.

Before you can use Android Device Manager, you have to enable it on your Droid Turbo and associate your Droid Turbo with your Google account. I recommend that you do this as your first project after associating your Google account with your Droid Turbo.

To turn on Android Device Manager on your Droid Turbo ...
  • Open the App drawer and select Google Settings
  • Select Security
  • Under Android Device Manager ...
    • Check Remotely locate this device
    • Check Allow remote lock and erase

System version 21.44.12 added to ... Message 1 here ... also see ... Release Notes at Motorola.

It is interesting that the build occurred on 2015.02.06 and it was released on 2015.03.06.

... Thom
That's funny - I just looked at moto's site to see if they had posted this a few hours ago and it still wasn't there.

Motorola always has more detailed changelogs than verizon but they always seem to lag a few weeks, as you noted.
