Dolphin Browser Bookmark Sync

The link you posted is the correct place that you should be able to see them. Is it possible that you are logged in with a different gmail account than the one it is syncing to? This one is probably a stupid question but...you do have bookmarks in Dolphin right? And not just the "most visited" pages that basically look like bookmarks?

I just tried going what jimdroid said. I was able to add a bookmark by clicking the star on the web history to add a link to my Google Bookmarks. Then I synced in Dolphin and that link shows up. But like he said, the reverse doesn't work.

I may tried clearing all data (cache / cookies, etc) and see if that fixes it. If not, I may uninstall / reinstall....

Well, I tried clearing all data, that didn't work. I un-installed / re-installed. That didn't work either. I know I have the correct Google Account since bookmarks I create via the web show up in my synced favorites on my phone, but not the other way around. I emailed the developer, so I will see if he has any insight. Thanks for all who checked.

Was there any resolution of this issue? I am having a related issue. When I delete a bookmark from Google bookmarks and sync to Dolphin, the bookmark is not deleted from Dolphin.

Don't think so. What you describe still happens for me as well. Also when I delete a bookmark from dolphin and then sync again, the deleted one reappears unless I specifically go into google bookmarks and delete it from there.

Seems like it's basically just a 1 way sync and will add any google bookmarks to your phone that aren't already there, but won't sync any changes made on the phone back to google bookmarks.

I am interested in copying my bookmarks off my phone to my home PC. I have very little interest in moving them in the other direction.

It would be good if you could specify which way you wanted to sync.

BTW, I just spent a lot of time organizing my bookmarks on my phone. (adding labels, and renaming with key words as the first word in the bookmark title.)

I then synced with my google bookmarks, and now when I look at the Google Bookmarks site on my PC, it appears there are no labels for the ones I imported off my phone.

And I think it duplicated the ones that I had relabeled on my phone, since they previously existed on the google bookmarks site.

Also, the Google Bookmarks website is a real pain to use, if you have a lot to organize. To add a label, you can only do one bookmark at a time. But to add to a list, you can pick many at a time. Is really useless since i don't think the lists are used on the Android.

If I am missing something, please let me know.

Same for me.

I go in to Google Bookmarks on my PC and delete a load of unwanted bookmarks, then I sync Dolphin bookmarks on my phone, the deleted bookmarks remain on my phone AND re-appear on Google Bookmarks on the PC.

Any resolution?

Stock Browser- browser that came with the phone not one you downloaded, mine came with IE or Internet Explorer.
It is a pain but this the only way I know works. took a week to figure out.
you need google/gmail acct. then go to your google bookmarks page.. yo maybe able to import straight from your computer to google bookmarks. I couldn't so what I did was make a free delicious acct. delicious is a bookmark program. on your computer browser which ever you use export your bookmarks in file format to a folder on your computer i believe the format was html. then go to your delicious acct. and click import and import the html file you exported from your browser. all your bookmarks will now be on delicious. now go back to google bookmarks and import from delicious acct. there should be an option to save/copy to list bookmarks click it. now for the phone
download app bookmarks to sd. use that app and sync with your google bookmarks acct.
If your bookmarks on your computer are in folders they won't be on your phone you will have to do that manually. I does work though I have alot of bookmarks on my computer IE browser and I checked my dolphinhd and stock/IE browsers on phone after syncing and every single bookmark is there.

I seen some of you have got bookmarks on googlebookmarks but they are not staying there. after i imported from delicious i had to hit copy to list to save them there because that is your bookmark list on google. I am not shure what the my list stuff is soididn't mess will it. but after importing click copy to list to save the bookmarks you imported to save to your google bookmarks.

hope this helps

Maybe try something like Bookmark Sort & Backup | AppBrain Android Market

It makes an HTML back-up, you could send to your PC and integrate it from there.
