the glass is great so long as you fit it right first time and trap no dust! Else it shatters on removing. I've bought the spigen glass t and other cheaper ones off ebay and they are all pretty much the same. I don't like the hole left for the home key, which is why I prefer screen protectors. They are less obtrussive/noticeable.

Also my experience of the glass t was it got tatty around the edges after a while - hence using cheaper ones that do the same job.

On my note 3 I used a screenmate Flex but could only source it from the US on amazon - which was a delay in the UK! It was excellent though.

For the note 4 I bought a

You brought up a good point about the curved edges. I didn't think about that at all. I'll probably be sticking with the flexible, and cheaper to replace plastic protectors.

Correct me if I'm wrong: The only reason I can see to use a screen protector is less likelihood of glass cracking when dropped. With or without it, screens need to be cleaned often with build up of smears from skin oils and contaminants which are less likely with the Note phones if using the pens.

Protectors are a real pain getting in place with the absence of dust or bubbles. Just can't see using.

The best screen protectors in my opinion are ballistic glass. I usually go with the ballistic glass from Tech Armor. I get them from Amazon.Com. they have a lifetime warranty. If you Crack the screen, just take a pic of it and email it to customer service and within a few hrs they respond back letting you know they are shipping a replacement

Also, the glass screen protectors are far easier to apply

My son said the same thing and added that he had never dropped her phone. Lo and Behold, he dropped his iPhone 6 Plus the day after getting it. Good thing I had the tempered glass protector installed before I gave him the phone. Screen protector cracked on bottom edge, but phone screen was just fine. You can believe I put another on it. At $700-850 for phones these days, a screen protector is cheap insurance.

I also never bought insurance for phones, but for the iPhone 6 Plus and Note 4, I purchased the 2 year Smart Trade Warranties for $75 each.

I've never used a screen protector on the dozens of phones I've had and I have never scratched a display yet.

Its better protection yeah, but it also mimics feel of glass while the plastic ones often felt, well like plastic. Also plastic sometimes don't hold up well with the s pen.

Hey all, was just wondering if any of you have this screen protector and if its any good? I had them for the Note 2 and Note 3 and they were but now they are giving 3 in a packet for cheaper so was wondering if the quality has taken a hit? In terms of both protection and clearness.

EDIT: The ones i have are only Crystal and not Ultra Crystal

Sorry if there is millions of threads for this but are these screen protectors any good for the Note 4, i had them on my Note 3 and Note 2 and they were great. You get 3 in a pack as well now which is good but is the quality of them the same, dont want the screen quality to take a massive hit.

I didnt mean to post this on here, i meant to start a new thread for it lol but whilst its there i might as well leave it, i put as the title i was asking about the Ultra Crystal however its just Crystal so are they any good?

I'm using the Spigen one, so far so good. It's nice they now give u 3 sheets, compared to 2sheets on previous Notes

I also tried out a glass screen protector (tempered glass), but just like the note2 I had before, the glass sticker doesn't stick down at the edges (even though the sticker falls well short of the entire width of the lcd screen) because the screen is too curved..

I wish samsung made the screen flat!
