Hi,
Since I have a problem with pairing my Android Bluetooth with my Laptop HP Bluetooth whose system is Windows 7- 64-Bit. However, I found that the Android Bluetooth was grayed out in the list Bluetooth devices for my Laptop, although the pairing was established very well. I was told that the Android drivers were not detected by my Windows 7 installed on my laptop, thus my Laptop Bluetooth didn't paired successfully with the Android Bluetooth.
First: Where can I find the Android Bluetooth Drivers(Brand is Samsung, Model number is: GT-S5570I, Android 2.3.6.) which are compatible with my Windows 7 64Bit.?

Second: in this site, I was looking for Drivers of my Android Smart Phone - GT-S5570I (Brand is Samsung, Android 2.3.6.). however, I found a very wide variety of resluts for 'GT-S5570I' which have the same GT-S5570I, but are different in the end. For instance:

Doesn't matter. Just get the one grom the Samsung website. You don't need to get a specific version. Plug the phone in using a usb cable and let Kies detect the phone. Then it will install the correct drivers once the phone is recognized. This includes Bluetooth drivers.

If I had installed 'the KiesSetup for Mobile Phone GT-S5570I (GT-S5570AAITIM) without connecting the mobile phone, it will be OK since the mobile phone is not mine, however, it is my brother's mobile.

Could you please at lest let me know what these numbers beginning from after '0' mean? I really checked my Mobile phone, and I only found the model number is just 'GT-S5570I'

To answer your question, the suffix letters indicate the firmware revision. Iirc the first three letters indicate date of release, and the last three are specific to localisation/carrier.

Regarding Kies, the most recent available version from Samsung's support site should work. install, connect the phone, and all necessary drivers will be installed.

I really don't see that Firmware in my My Android mobile phone when I checked it.

Also, I am having a problem pairing my Android Bluetooth with my Laptop Bluetooth, the Android Bluetooth is grayed out when got paired. Thus, I need to plug my phone to my laptop while installing the drivers.

Also, I really have downloaded the Samsong kies installer 2.0 for GT-S5570I (GT-S5570AAITIM) Software. But I don't know if this is the latest one.

If the Kies you have isn't latest, it won't matter. Kies will connect to internet and detect itself. It will prompt you if there is a newer version.

I really installed Samsung Kies(I don't check the first option as in the screen shot below), however, I am still having a problem pairing my Android mobile Bluetooth with the my Laptop Bluetooth. When Android Bluetooth gets paired with my Laptop Bluetooth, the Android mobile Bluetooth is grayed out in my Bluetooth devices under my Laptop.

I have installed old version and then updated the new one.

These are the details::


Connecting The Bluetooth of an Android mobile with the Bluetooth of HP laptop didn't succeed


I have followed these steps to pair the the Bluetooth of my HP laptop, and the other Android Bluetooth.


First: I have clicked on 'add' a device'. Second, the Bluetooth of the Android mobile got shown. Then, I have connected to it. After that, 'Comparing pairing Codes' showed to me. (Screen shot below)

Next: Each Bluetooth's user of us accepted that confirmation. Finally: The pair was established well. (Screen shot below):

Although The Android Bluetooth was paired with my My HP laptop Bluetooth successfully, the Android Bluetooth is grayed out on my My laptop Bluetooth list as shown in this screen shot below:

Whenever I have clicked on the Android Bluetooth listed in my the Bluetooth devices, I received no Bluetooth control showed me(NO way to send files since Android Bluetooth is grayed out) Also, whenever the User who has the android mobile phone tries to send file into my laptop Bluetooth paired with his Android Bluetooth, he received an error not sending file.

Although the the Android Bluetooth is enabled to be detected by other Bluetooth devices. If there were a problem with my Laptop Bluetooth, then I would be facing the same problem with connecting(pairing) my Laptop Bluetooth with the Nokia Bluetooth.



Second: Connecting The Bluetooth of a Nokia mobile with the Bluetooth of HP laptop succeeded:

I have followed the same steps to connected the Nokia Bluetooth to my Laptop Bluetooth, and it succeeded well.

Then windows was checking for drivers for the Nokia Bluetooth.

Then the Bluetooth control was shown which will enable me and the other one user to send and receive files via pairing Bluetooth:

NOTE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN connecting THE NOKIA BLUETOOTH WITH MY LAPOTP BLUETOOTH, AND THE ANDROID BLUETOOTH WITH MY LAPTOP BLUETOOTH)::

1- there is no checking windows for drivers for the Android Bluetooth while got paired to my laptop Bluetooth. However, there is a checking windows for drivers for the Nokia Bluetooth when got paired to my laptop Bluetooth.

2- THE NOKIA IS NOT GRAYED OUT(active/enabled), HOWEVER, THE ANDROID IS GRAYED OUT( inactive/disabled)

Yes, My Android device is plugged to my Laptop.

Yes, My Android Bluetooth is paired with my laptop Bluetooth, however, it is grayed out under the Bluetooth devices on my Laptop, which means I cannot access to Bluetooth Device Control.

Kies is correct. Doesn't matter what version you install because it won't start up if you don't have the latest. It will update itself to correct version.

You don't understand. I'm asking if the Android Bluetooth is set to visible. You don't need it to be plugged to the laptop.

Yes, When I checked the Samsung mobile phone, it was visible to be detected by other devices, or otherwise how could I paired Samsung Bluetooth with my Laptop Bluetooth?

Bear in mind, once the Samsung Bluetooth got paired, it gets grayed out(disabled) under Bluetooth devices on my laptop, and then it turns to active(enabled) for only a second, then turns grayed out, and so on.


I believe as frustrated and perplexed about this error. I thought when I installed the Samsung Kies, everything would be wroking well.

I would be saying that the issue is not with Samsung Mobile phone since the Samsung Mobile phone Bluetooth was connected very well with the Dell Laptop Bluetooth.


I think that the problem with HP Laptop Bluetooth Software, or Bluetooth Hardware.


To conclude this issue. let say:

First of all: both the laptops(Hp, and Dell) have the same version and edition of Windows 7. Home Premium 64Bit.


Second: when I connected the Samsung Bluetooth with Dell Laptop Bluetooth, I didn't install any Android drivers (no Kies were installed). However, Windows 7 installed on Dell directly looked for drivers once I connected Mobile Bluetooth with Dell Bluetooth. However, the Windows 7 on HP laptop didn't look for the drivers.


This shows that the Samsung Mobile Phone Bluetooth got connected well with Dell Laptop Bluetooth.

Samsung Android Bluetooth is connected to Media Audio with Dell Nasreen-PC Bluetooth::


Note: That when Dell Laptop Bluetooth got connected with Samsung Bluetooh then, when I checkked out the Bluetooth settings, I found this(connected to Media Audio). However, when HP laptop Bluetooth got connected with the Samsung Bluetooth, this was shown "connected to phone audio")

Yes, the same product(Samsung mobile phone) is working fine on Windows with Dell Computer.
However, with Windows with HP Computer is not working fine. I have the latest HP Bluetooth drivers installed on My HP laptop.

If you had had a look at my previous posts, you would have seen the more details.


I posted at HP forums, however, no one resolved the problem to me at all. This is I would be recommending for anyone willing to purchase a computer to not buy from HP at all.

No. You can't. Drivers are hardware specific, which means if your HP is using a different sort of hardware, it won't work. But from what I can see, it's an HP specific problem to your laptop. Don't know how to fix that.

Unfortunately, no, I couldn't fix it, or otherwise I would have been posting this peroblem at many forums, MS forums, HP forums, Android Forums, and others.

The problem is definitely with HP laptop since the same product (Mobile) is working with Dell laptop without installing any Samsung Kies, nor installing any Samsung drivers.
Windows with Dell laptop looked for the drivers once Samsung got connected to Dell.

However, as said in my previous posts, Windows with HP laptop didn't looked for any drivers once Samsung got connected to HP.
