Another "from the past"

The RAZR V3 is NOT vintage. the Motorola DynaTAC 800TX? now that's vintage. the V3 came out in 2003 was it? i think 'vintage' would normally apply to any AMPS mobile device, not something that was on the dawn of the first iPhone.

Let me guess, many people are still using them in your area? :D

Flip feature-phones are still somewhat popular here in China, more so in rural and poorer areas, can still buy them for quite low prices.

2002, I had the Sony-Ericsson T68i, but didn't have the plug-in VGA camera option though. And I nearly did get a Nokia Communicator, but for some reason I didn't.

I had a Motorola Flip on Verizon when I first started with a cell phone. Read about changing/custom ringtones and most other phones gave you a cable. Motorola wanted $50 for the cable, it didn't come with the phone.

Found BitPim, got it working. I wasn't about to pay for the cable when other companies included it.

Actually flip phones are still common here.

But I don't consider a phone made post year 2000 as vintage. From the 80s? 90s? Sure.

People's definition of old must have changed in generation X. I cringe whenever a late 1990s Mustang shows up in a 'classic' car show.

I consider my Nokia 7600 from 2004 to be vintage.

First 3G capable phone I had, thought it was great at the time watching streamed video clips. It wasn't even Symbian, it was S40 Java platform. A feature phone.

No doubt it still works and can make phone calls, send messages and play games and videos with it, but would I want to though? No.
