2.1 update on a Mac

Something just occurred to me. If, indeed, this is an OTW update, is it going to use HTC Sync to do it? I'm on a mac -- am I out of luck?

Oh -- I always thought OTW meant that it was accomplished while the handset was attached via wire to the computer, as opposed to an over the air delivery. Actually, I've heard OTW refer to transfers that don't require the assistance of anyone at Sprint, too, now that I think about it. Oh well -- as long as I can get it, I guess I don't really much care.

I'm not totally sure you are wrong, I didn't mean to imply that. You might be correct as well, but from all I have read, I think the update will require a visit to a store and not via PC connection. I'm not one to rush anyway... will let all the dust settle and bugs get hammered out PRIOR to updating my phone.

Well, at least I'll wait till the ROOT the new version, hahahaha... I give it 2-3 days.

I was under the impression we could do it ourselves or take it to the store.

Yeah, I heard we could download the update ourselves OR take it in.
