The deciding factor for me came down to the overall quality of the display. The N6 display is inferior. It's OK at first glance but it isn't even in the same universe as the Note 4 display once you've had a chance to spend some time with it. I'm guessing Motorola's need to cut cost led to the cheap display.
With some images displayed on the N6 you can move the image around and actually see dark spots behind the display. The image moves but the spots don't. It's like you're looking through the display. I'm not paying $700 for that.
My only issue with the Note is the bloat that can't be disabled. Touch wiz is actually decent looking these days.
