For any who are interested, I flashed the newest CyanogenMod M12 snapshot build and it's running great so far.

Here's the link to the CyanogenMod nightly builds-

http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=d2lte

Edit:

Sorry to say but the camera pics aren't the clearest. I've tried several camera apps and they didn't help. Pics just don't have the clarity needed for my picky self. Pics are memories and I want them to be the best they can be when taking them from my phone. Sure, I've got a nice camera but who carries their camera with them at all times? Not me. Only on trips. I have my phone with me at all times and it actually takes decent pics when running the right ROM.

Other than the camera, the only other issue I've found is WiFi download speed is a tad slow.

I love CyanogenMod but its time to restore my backup of Bliss. It takes great pictures. :D:thumbup:

CM11 M12 wouldn't work on my phone, not data, no GPS. So I finally caved last night and knoxed up my phone. Still running stock at the moment testing things out.

I know most here have already updated but anyone else still waiting here was my procedure, and what a pain in the ass it was.

1. Booted into Philz, did a full wipe for new rom. Then formatted the internal SD card. Then rebooted into download mode. (I wanted a 100% clean slate.)
2. Odin'd NDC (that was easy, took 10 minutes or so.)
3. Phone booted up and everything seemed to be working so I set up all my stuff, until I rebooted the phone. Then I lost data. I couldn't update profile it kept failing.
4. Ran the activation code ##72786#. That fixed data but then it said Samsung was my carrier instead of Boost.
5. Installed the "Refresh Customization" app from the play store. Chose option 1. This rebooted my phone, then factory reset it, which pissed me off since I just got done setting it up. But so far so good since then.

I did notice signal is weaker at my house. I can no longer hold 4G at home and get kicked off 3G to 1X occasionally. I had never seen a 1X signal at home before so that's kind of disappointing but I'll have to give it a few more days to see how it behaves when I'm out and about. Not much else I can do because apparently my phone needs NDC for the newer roms. I'm willing to bet any 5.0 custom roms that come out will require the newest boot loader.

The other thing I noticed is wireless charging no longer works when the phone is off. That's kind of weird but whatever I don't usually charge the phone when off anyway but it's one of the things on my list to check after installing a new rom since I've had that issue with some custom roms as well.

I have mixed feelings about the update so far but at least I have a bigger selection of custom roms which is why I did it.

sorry if this has been addressed, but I havent seen anything about it.....
every time i restart my phone, certain things seem to go back to factory default. Mainly, the EQ settings in the native music player. Could it be because i have the stock Kernel? if so, what kernel do you reccomend, and where can I d/load it? i am running the stock 4.4.2 software, and I am rooted.
Thanks in advance!

Alright looking around I noticed a lot of roms have stopped development all together and I know I'm probably late to this but Phillz recovery has ended development I guess I missed a lot

Anyone know of any roms other than cm and asop that keep updated versions looking around I can't really tell what's staying updated wanted to run bliss but I can't really tell if development will continue

This thread over in the VM section is kept up to date pretty well on the 4.4.4 ROMs. There are quite a few official and unofficial builds still building nightlies.

Update on cm 12: (when installing it takes almost 7 mins to Boot at least for me and data doesn't always connect, After the first reboot and it may not read your sdcard at all sometimes you just have to reboot it until everything works, so that's multiple times rebooting and waiting to see if everything worked I think I rebooted 6 or so times and once everything works don't turn it off unless you like playing the guessing game to what won't work on Boot lol )

Installation :What I did was install the ROM APN gapps then super su all at one time let it Boot singed into accounts let it redownload my apps everything worked on the first boot but after that it gets funky

What work:
Data
Bluetooth
Call's work(first call my screen just went black i heard the ringing just couldn't interact i had to pull the battery to reboot it afterwards it works fine)
I have a 64 GB sdcard and that works
GPS
WiFi
Root
YouTube (set quality to 720p and rewind the video and it play's flawless)

What doesn't:
Camera
Noticeable Battery Drain (caused by a miscellaneous nexus 5 bug has something to do with WiFi so I'm assuming if you keep it off WiFi you'll be okay I can't say for certain haven't tested it yet but I'm sure it'll get fixed just carry a charger)

Over all rather great for a first build I'm going to really use it might be a daily driver I am really thankful a dev even built a build and let us use it may not be the most stable (atm) but that'll come with time and I know I couldn't do any better
Thank

I been using reMOUNT from gplay store by stericson awesome app! really works great fast simple easy too.

I think even we all get funky after awhile lmao....

I had this same thing happen to me on my acatel phone I think thats the name of it but anyways it turned out it was a bad I forgot the name of that sensor ? it's when you put it to your ear after you answer a call it's a form of light detection when you put it to your ear it blacks out the screen. and it did the same exact thing you're saying happened. you may want to click on phone then menu settings and disable it in there.
says something on the lines of enable such and such when answering a call. take the check out of it.
sorry im not so up to par tonight I been working since 11pm monday night.. Just now getting home..

I have a 64 GB sdcard and that works

you could try a different one from play store or try to extract one from one of the roms and put it in an update.zip or mount as rw root access. and put it in the priv-app folder and click it for it to install or it may already install i think once you put it in that folder. it becomes protected..

Noticeable Battery Drain (caused by a miscellaneous nexus 5 bug has something to do with WiFi so I'm assuming if you keep it off WiFi you'll be okay I can't say for certain haven't tested it yet but I'm sure it'll get fixed just carry a charger)

Wifi even on the best rom I feel is a batt killer. you may try auto dim setting for your screen as for that is the major batt hog.. and also keep wifi off and gps and your data when not using it.
I put mine in deep sleep mode over night while on charge every night.
seems to give me full day of use.

Over all rather great for a first build I'm going to really use it might be a daily driver I am really thankful a dev even built a build and let us use it may not be the most stable (atm) but that'll come with time and I know I couldn't do any better
