Root [GUIDE][ROOT] Root your LG L70! (MS323)

Somehow, after running an automated bloatware removal script, my camera's flash was disable. It's to the point my phone doesn't even support any flashlight apps from the Play Store. I mean, I'm able to download the apps but the flash doesn't come on. Someone please help.

Anyone else have a problem with the flash? I unlocked and rooted a ms323 for a friend after having success with mine. His flash stopped working after a few days. Could be unrelated to rooting, but I didn't check it before delivering to him.

I successfully installed Towelroot and had root access. However, after last night's kernel update, Towelroot will not longer work. I have tried the various modstrings, including the 1337 0 1 0 4 1 with no success. I am hoping someone can find a fix for this as I was just about to start offloading apps to my SD card to free up space. The new version is MS32310c.

Here the solution :
Search in google: LG Flash Tool 2014 - The best way to Flash LG KDZ Rom
is of GSM forum is a tutorial

Here the oficial kernel:
Search in google: Official Stock LG L70 Firmware / Rom
Your case is the kernel :V10B: MS32310b_00.kdz... download it

First , download the kernel
Second , follow the tutorial.
Use the CSE flash in a LG flash tool
This forum does not allow me to put links.
I had the same problem and solve it well , just make a backup of all your data.
Good luck...:)

I think I might have screwed the pooch with rooting the phone.
>downloaded towelroot & downloadedSuperSu
>Run both apps, don't see any difference.
>Find out that certain apps Will stay on phone regardless of rooting.
>Start tho have problems with camera pics as well as gallery. They don't show nor any that I download from the internet.
>and to make things a lot worse, I uninstall both towelroot and SuperSu w/out restoring the previous settings.
So should I reinstall the apps and undojust about all I did. Put can some one tell me how it's done, thanks inn advance!!!l

I have been unsuccessful with several of the methods here. Flashing did not work - it would not go beyond detecting the phone. Also have been unsuccessful in unlocking the bootloader. TowelRoot comes back with "device not supported".

I just got this phone yesterday. Running Android 4.4.2 Kernal 3.4.0+, Software MS32310c. Does anyone have any suggestions for getting this phone rooted?

Towel root is more of a root exploit then a app, and without root this phone is trash.. You should do some reading and learn exactly what root access is before rooting.. Rooting you're phone has absolutely nothing to do with your gallery. Bottom line is if you don't know what root is, you probably shouldn't

Towel root only works on firmware A&B, firmware C can't be rooted as of yet... There is a download link for firmware a&b in the unbrick guide

This guide is designed for the Metro PCS version of the L70, but it should work for any version of the L70.

You retain all responsibility of your phone, and should you brick it , that is your fault. (Although I'm 99.9% sure you won't)

1. Go to towelroot by geohot and download the tr.apk file (Click the Lambada)
2. Put said .apk file onto your phone and install (Need to have "Unknown sources" checked in the "Security" tab of your settings)
3. Press the "Make it Ra1n" button
4. Wait until your phone restarts (It will do so automatically)
5. Congratulations, your phone is now rooted!

I used this and it did not work and Metro still has control of my hotspot , and I do not have admin rights I cannot remove apps I do not want , why ?
