Root [GUIDE][ROOT] Root your LG L70! (MS323)

This guide is designed for the Metro PCS version of the L70, but it should work for any version of the L70.

You retain all responsibility of your phone, and should you brick it , that is your fault. (Although I'm 99.9% sure you won't)

1. Go to towelroot by geohot and download the tr.apk file (Click the Lambada)
2. Put said .apk file onto your phone and install (Need to have "Unknown sources" checked in the "Security" tab of your settings)
3. Press the "Make it Ra1n" button
4. Wait until your phone restarts (It will do so automatically)
5. Congratulations, your phone is now rooted!

says phone not supported?

Hi! I have a LG L70 (lg-d320n) updated to android 4.4.2 and towel dosen't work. Can you give me.some advice? :D

Yeah same thing happened to me most likely you have a newer kernal version ms323c check through Settings . General . About Phont . Sofware Info, Buildnumber.. if its something like ms323c than you have the newer c kernel build you must read through an unbrick guide and downgrade to a lower build ms323b.. unfortunatly towelroot doesbt support the c version.

If thats your issue i had the same problem and just downgraded easy.

Click the link above these posts its a link how to downgrade by flashing a kdz into your phone if u do the steps correctly you should be fine cause i did it. Also if you get into the tutorial you might want to google LGFlashTool2014 download because the link for dl in the guide has a different program and may make things confusing.

Let me know if this helps.

Can you help me out? I did everything in the instructions and it's telling me 'This phone isn't currently supported.' My phone is an LG Optimus L70 running 4.4.2 KitKat. Build Number KOT49I.MS32310c

Said it wasn't compatible with my LG 70

Go to settings, then click on general , scroll to the bottom and click on about phone, then click on software information and it will look like this but if you have the ms32310c on the software version then you will have to flash your phone back to the ms32310b
