Anybody else notice how much better of a music player the incredible is over the moto Droid?

My moto Droid would constantly have hiccups in the audio playback, and I have not yet after almost a week with the incredible heard even one minor hiccup in audio playback.

I don't know if it was a bug on the Droid or just a side effect of being a slower clock speed, or lack of RAM, but it is definitely not a problem on my incredible.

Anybody else who came from a Droid notice this?

I find it plays music fine, but it seems to be the slowest application on the phone. I have been looking for an alternative.

I wasn't specifically talking about the sense music player, I was talking about the music playback experience in general. I use rhapsody, slacker, Pandora, droidlive, and the sense player, and all have been playing without any hiccups in the audio output. My moto Droid would constantly shutter and hiccup when playing back audio.

Okay I don't know if I am the only one who is having these issues

The music player is not remembering the last song/artist/album that I selected. So every time I go to the menu, it sorts and I have to go through the huge list. This is not fun :(

I cannot skip the song by sliding on the album art (okay this was working b4 and don't know how to change the settings to make it work - any help?)

No equalizer ?

May be better than driod but still a very average player.

Unrelated: Slacker is very error prone in DI. I have to login everytime :( and it give some wired error code - anyone else having the same issue?

IM interested in knowing how the file system works for the Droid Incredible - starting with (1) the MP3 folder (2) The SD card (3) note/txt files.

But since this thread is about music on the DI, then let me start with #1. Can I delete the subfolders under the MP3 folder? If I copy my MP3 files to the MP3 folder, do I need to create subfolders for them, etc...

Thanks!

I have an Error 1, -17 pop up after playing 1-3 songs. Very hard to deal with while driving. I'm to the point I'm going to have to drop slacker as my preferred service. That said last.fm just stops playing too. Not put Pandora through the paces yet.

slacker works perfectly for me. i only had to sign in the first time i launched the app and not once since.

I've had some issues with the stock player mp3. Buddy Runner is supposed to pause the player, give a voice update, and then restart the player. Instead, it just pauses, and i have to manually play again. My friend with a Nexus One says it works fine for him. Pandora just keeps playing (doesn't pause) so I know its not a sound device error.

What are some other mp3 players to try? I especially want one that sees the internal storage. I've tried cubed and the UI in counter intuitive for me.

My stock music player does not work very well when using the headphone out. Some times it will work, then I'll reopen it and it will skip every track like they aren't recognized. Then it will glitch for awhile before I close the app and grab an apple device.

And could've swore that my phone came with two music apps.

Doh. Just realized there are two music widgets and I was using the sense widget, not program. Not sure if it will help but I changed to the program shortcut....

And my bluetooth headset seems to work fine but when I plug in to say external speakers is when it craps out....

I can't speak to the Moto Droid's music player, but I did notice that the sound quality seems better on the Inc as opposed to my Eris...don't know if it's an upgrade within Android 2.1 or just the internals of the Inc. Sound is as good to my ears as my iPod Touch was. Music would also often cut out intermittently on the Eris at the start of songs which never happens with the Inc.
