Smiley on status bar -what is it?

I have a smiley on my status bar (top of screen where netowrk singal, etc is). It just showed up today and isn't going away. Any idea what it is? I don't have any notifications.

Any idea why it just showed up after a week of having the phone?

Any way to get rid of it? I don't see any value in having a smiley on my status bar that doesn't mean anything.

Does it look like the Smiley on this Pic?

If it is Quickdroid , Simply uninstall the application

Does this Work for you? Another way to find out what app is causing it is to download something Like "Advanced task Manager" {Free} and End the apps one-by-one until the smiley disappears.......... The last app you ended is the Perpetrator , Now you can just uninstall it

No- it is a yellow smiley face. Actually, it is gone now. I guess next time it appears I will take your advice and start killing tasks until it goes away. Thanks
