Cheap Screen Protectors

Hmm, tape you say. Screen protectors are made with a plastic which sticks to the plastic or glass on your screen. When you take them off their shouldn't be residue. Tape on the other hand will leave the glue on the screen most likely and potentially damage your screen when your trying to clean the glue off.

Just go on ebay and buy a 3 pack of a cheap screen protector for $5 or so.

I would not recommend the cheap stuff on ebay... it's the really thin stuff that is impossible to stick on without bubbles and also seems to alter the clarity of the screen. I had the verizon stuff that was pretty good, but now I don't use a protector at all.

Yeah, the Eris is my first smart phone, so when I got it I was so worried about keeping it safe/protected. I went and bought a silly case and screen protectors. I wish I never had. I've been using my Eris without a protective case or screen protector for over a month and love it! My screen is still perfect, so is the case. I have even dropped the phone twice on to tile.

I bought some cheap screen protectors on ebay and haven't had any problems. I got 3 and i'm still on my first one and it's been about 2 months, no bubbles or scuffs

the corner at the top is starting to come up a bit, but it doesn't get caught or pull or give me any problems. Good deal for only a couple bucks on ebay!

I'm with you, I like the feel of the bare glass and it has not gotten scratched at all. I do however use a case. I like the feel of the ribbed back. Just feels more secure: (I don't use the belt clip)

is anyone looking for screen protectors for there Eris, i know this is going to sound really weired but you can use packing tape, it works perfectly. it is a lot better than paying $12.99 for it. just thought i would try and help some of you out, and give you a cheaper alternative.

Sounds like something my mom would come up with...
find a way to use household items to fix things instead of buying new ones lol....

Sounds like a good idea, and i'm sure it's working for you.... But the day you have to take it off

I have taken mine off and nothing happend, i even cleaned the screen off with some glasses cleaner and no glue was stuck to the screen or anything, it came off the sreen like the day i got it. all I was suggesting is if you didnt want to pay that much for them one could use packing tape. and i am a male, college student and didnt have the $12.99 or the $5.00 for a good quality screen protector.
