Help Add phone numbers from missed calls to an existing contact

I agree that the first described method works. However the call history program that comes with the phone gives you a better list of calls. For example you get the time and date displayed. By pressing the phone you get only a list of numbers where you need to press and hold on the nr and then choose call history anyway to see the history of that call.
So, the call history is quite handy for me and I use it very often. I have a shortcut on my main screen and I was hoping to add unknown numbers from there if I need it, which is the topic of this post.

Yep... I'd really like to see this functionality as well... What's the verdict?

Just done this on my Hero. Next to the call history item in Phone is a + button and tapping that allows me to create a new contact or add to an existing contact. Alternatively, long press on the item and select Save to People.

Doesn't seem to work from the Call History in the People app though.

As mentioned above , just click the + in front of the missedcall and you get optione "create new contact" and "save to existing contact" its working for me. :)

1. Tap 'Phone' on your homescreen, hide the keyboard, scroll to the missed call, hit the small '+' icon on the right.

2. Enter "People" application, scroll right to Call History, scroll down to the missed call, tap and hold on the missed call.

Both ways produce a menu with "Save to contacts" option.

ticho you are a badass! Exactly what I was looking for! Found this within a couple clicks of googling my problem. Though I didn't have to do step 2. When I hit the '+' icon it immediately asked save to existing contact which is what I wanted. Thank you!
