"Droid" Sound bite

looking for Droid sound to set up for notifications anyone know anywhere to get it? and will i need a seperate app to make it a notification?
i do have the sound on my sd card but cant find the option to make it a notification or ringtone or add to playlist. even after long press....hmmmm

From your pc just create a new folder on the SD card and name it "notifications". Copy the sound file into it.

From Astro, Menu > New > Directory > name it notifications. Just make sure it's created at the root level. Then copy the sound file into it.

hey if i have it already in mp3 form on the sdcard can i move it to notification folder ?

thank yall for your help really. now that its there in the notifications folder i made how do i set it as a text noti?....btw im sitting here with the phone looking for a way as i type. lol

It will also show up for any other app that uses notifications: Gmail accounts, sms, etc.
