Root [Boost Mobile] is there any way to get my custom recovery back?

I tried to take everything back to stock so I can install kitkat . I don't have a laptop so the only way for me was to take the update.but it failed and now I can't get into recovery screen anymore it just loops through logo screen till I let it boot up normal. Can I use mobile odin or any other way to get rooted and custom recovery back without pc?

you need root for Mobile Odin to work the only thing to do is PC Odin the Stock tar depending on your model then Odin Flash PhilZ latest tar and you'll have the recovery then use the PhilZ settings to "re-root" the phone and your good to go

Ok. I had already updated to 4.3 and tripped the knox thing". I have the mk5 modem. Can u point me to the tar I can use so I don't put the wrong one and brick my phone. I've had too much bad luck snd I'm little scared to chance it. I would appreciate the help

Just Odin update to ND8 or NDC http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2738533 you just wont be able to flash a lower bootloader or modem
