ROMs Critical Update V4.2.2 For the LG Motion 4G MS770

This is a mandatory update that fixes certain issues with the rom first were going to let you know why in the changelog below:

Changelog:

* updated the Camera from v1.5 to v1.6

(This fixes a paranormal issue and as well adds support to the ics kernel v3.0.8)

*restored the jb launcher since the last launcher made the os act weired

*replaced calendar with stock calendar and fixed the calendar sync

*the boot animation is now a Windows 8 boot animation and whybi did this, didnt use alot of flash space and the boot is freaking cool as hell

*the os now runs dynamically rather then running the job to the gpu

*removed RAM Properties from build.prop that made the os use alot of ram that is not even necassary to do

So I'm looking to flash the ROM in general from your other post cm11 for the motion. Should I flash the ROM and then this? Or the other way around

This is an update to fix issues that was ouccuring, however you do not need gapps nor my other roms to install this

Thanks for the ROM man, you're the best! Quick question. Do I just update from zip in recovery, or do I have to do a whole new fresh install? Thanks.

Thank you and you require a fresh install just go into recovery and wipe the following

Format /data

Format /cache

Then go to Advanced and select Wipe Dalvik-Cache

If you dont do this it can cause a boot loop as well lose of recovery itself and dont worry has a CWM Recovery with the rom so itll install with fresh updated one for you also just install the zip the zip is a flashable zip

Is this supposed to be based on the KitKat OS? Would be AWESOME to get the Lollipop version, when available. I'm thinking of experimenting a little more with my Motion. If I can get the Lollipop build, maybe I can put one together and if it's any good, share it.

Love this update... well needed. the only trouble I'm having is that any WiFi calling or video calling app (Skype,hangouts, Facebook messenger) will soft reset my phone when I try to call. Is it something I did wrong?

Hmm i never encountered that issue before but heres what you can do to


Enter your custom recovery


Then click wipe cache partition then reboot usally apps are only doing that because of false coding or break in the app i dont think that my rom is causing that issue but ill look into it, and i ront think wifi calling is supported in this rom ill see if ill be able to add it can you report the error in recovery and send me the report?

First of all, great job on the ROM! It runs really well, I haven't noticed any bugs, and the battery life is excellent! I wasn't crazy about the camera app though, it seemed like it cropped the view and the pictures didn't look quite as good as the ones from the stock app. But it still took good pictures. I have a question though, I flashed the ROM successfully using the LTE2 2nd-init app, but I didn't have gapps or VerC modem to install when I flashed the ROM and I thought I could just use the app and boot into recovery and flash them (I didn't know I could just use the reboot menu), but trying to do that gave a "Morningcall is empty" security error. It's not bricked and I can still use the phone, but I can't boot into recovery, so I can't flash VerC modem which I need to actually my phone as a phone. So, the question is, is there any way I can flash the stock firmware? I saw something on another forum about an LG flash tool. Hope you can help, thanks in advance, and again, great job on the ROM!

Thanks and remeber all my rome posted by me has gapps installed in the rom so their is no need to flash em and if your getting that error and unable to get to recovery you need to unbrick it by reflashing the stock firmware, you can use lg tool to reflash the stock firmware or use a app called kdz for lg motion not fully sure but thats all i know

Hey bro I install this rom but it will not let me video record the rom is nice but that the problem can you help mw with that and i can not go into recovery or download mode when i try to it hard reset by it self it doesnt give me any options to install rom it just reset by it self please help me bro

solo como dice el video lo he puesto en download. e truco es dejarlo apretado asta que se queda en download no soltar los botones. y instala la ultima rom aunque yo instale la f

Si te envio los pasos en la noche que voy al trabajo. pero el desbloqueo de sim te funcionara solo para poder usar el 4g de otros operadores tambien para el cdma. pero sim solo 4G

hi, the same problem is happening in my phone and also when I conect the battery charger and turn off the phone it soft reset and change the time and date to 1970 is there any way to solve this?

My LG Headset don't Work it connects but the sound comes through the speaker instead of the headset This is why I'm not using this rom Anyway to fix it?
