Out signal-ed by a moto droid :-(

So, i sit next to this girl at work with a moto droid and she usually has almost perfect 3G signal.....now that i got my incredible, i've noticed i usually have far far less with only a position dif of a few feet.....any ideas??? anyone else see less that good reception?

+1. i posted a thread on another forum about this...

i'm at -76dbm (according to the phone info) and only 3 bars...putting the phone down on the couch dropped me to -80dbm and four bars. picking it up in and holding it up in the air takes me to -62dbm and two bars.

seems there's not much rhyme or reason as to how many bars show up...

My dB readings were about 4 less than the DROID I compared it too.

I have zero bars right now but google talk msgs come in instantly and my phone rings within a second or two from calling it.

The bars are delayed by a minute or so.
