* CWM, TWRP, & Philz recovery can be used to flash this ROM.

* Make sure JollyRoger4G.zip is on External SD

* Be sure to factory reset & wipe both caches before ROM installation to prevent issues.

Plz excuse the large file. All APK's are fully expanded instead of bare bones that need massive updating. Some APK's I've disconnected from Google Play annoyances that won't bug you to update as some apps I got just before Dev modifications that reduce options. WiFi Tether settings:

With these ZTE phones, you have to turn WiFi tether on TWICE. (on fully, then/off/on) to connect your PC. Seriously. It seems to be a ZTE thing. The only other alternative is WiFi Tether Router (paid) by Fabio Grassi. This was free and the ONLY tether apk that would sit & function in System. There are also the settings that need adjusted. These are the settings that I know work:

Having trouble finding that lettering/font color, lol.. But did some more theming/inversion in this, stars should be more consistent across android OS's/phones too..
I'll try to have a JollyRoger 1st run out this weekend, but I'd prefer to have it finished first - ppl stressing with issues doesn't go well for any kind of Dev status, lol.

Really?! Umm lemme check, may have made a mistake..
Edit: there's no way. This is the 8.55Mb apk (unzipped size) that I added more theming to. It's bigger than v1 which was 8.33Mb. Check ur file, download, zip, uninstall updates, clear both caches, ect.. U can even look inside ur DL to check if right size file is there.

Wasn't looking for anything, just throwing out a more themed playstore for ya. Was hoping that when the large stars are hit in reviews they wasn't turning pastel colors anymore.. Should be the dark blue & gold.. Aka: W.I.P... Lol. Sorry, got distracted with company this weekend, lol. I'll be back on this ASAP

Okay yeah v2 works but all the app icons are black so u can't read anything . v1 is great though thanks a lot and the big stars in v1 are just dark blue with a gold outline when I tried same as v2

I done the JollyRoger for the Sequent too, lol. With SuperR's help of course. Apparently I still have some learning to do with updater scripts.. Couldn't have made everything flashable without his help.

Hey that's actually pretty cool I've been missing lately. Haven't been on the site in a bit.
Speaking of modding, I did something I thought was cool. I took the ui sounds and made my camera click1 sound like Mario throwing a fireball, second sounds like he's kicking a turtle shell, third sounds like him jumping (probably make one silent) . I haven't changed any others yet but I'd like to find some awesome sound effects. It was the easiest mod ever. I just went to
/system/media/audio/
copy the folder you want to mod, made a folder I could work in. Just take whatever sound you want name it the same name as the sound you're replacing and then slide it into the folder and overwrite the original sound. Make a copy of anything your modding of course

This will be stock based KK for sure. How far along? Infancy at the moment (just starting again cuz JB was almost finished when we updated from JB) but I like the new quick toggles in KK. I'm gonna be experimenting on a few things but hopefully it'll be wicked when done.. Gonna see if I can add more snap to it with some scripts but no promises on those yet. Been setting up my PC to try & make it easier/faster but I'm still learning. Also wanting to make this a little "Cyan"-ish too cuz Cyanogen is almost nonexistent for ZTE and CM apps rock. I've got some ideas to throw down, just getting things set up right is tedious.. And What'cha mean "blend"? [emoji56]

Really? I was clueless & unaware of YouTube having a series, Lmfao. No offense taken. [emoji41] I'm hoping things go right with this KK deal cuz I'm noticing many differences from ICS & JB. Nothing crazy, just that apps are multiple folders - extra work & close attention to some details. Would you believe that just copying a cpl system folders to my SD1 made my phone go nuts? Everything turned into jumbled gibberish! Lmfao. Easily fixed with a restore after I moved the copied folders to the PC. Phone didn't know how to react with multiple system folders, Lmfao! Don't worry tho, I'm using my personal phone as a tester before I release it to u guys. The one thing we have an advantage with is that SuperR is in our corner. This will probably be my last JollyRoger ROM for ZTE phones since they will be locked down like the Warp Sync.
