[OFFICIAL] LG G3 Updates/Speculation Thread

There is a way to force the update look here. The update is official but my phone had a defective OTA tool forcing me to manual flash by this method. Does NOT require root. Thank goodness for Android Community on Google+ for pointing the link for me and others! Whoever says G+ is useless or dead hasn't been there!

Who really know's if this version is the version that Verizon will actually push out or not .... If it is, it is pathetic that they can't allow the G3 users to get it already., The G4 is supposed to be announced next month. I guess that is how we will get it from verizon. It really does suck....

I've tried google search and also tried to see if there is a way to manually flash this rom (as I've been able to do with Samsung phones in the past) and I am wondering if I am the only one out there..

So the official Lollipop update for the AT&T LG G3 rolled out last month, and I still don't have it. I am using an unlocked AT&T branded LG G3 on Cricket. It is NOT rooted or customized in any way, and yet when I check for updates, to this day it tells me there are no updates. I'm still on 4.4.2.

I did get the last minor OTA that AT&T released a few months ago, so I am not sure why I haven't got this one.. Anyone else in the same boat or know why in the hell my G3 hasn't got it yet? I understand the rollouts are staggered but I can't seem to find info on other people who are still waiting.. Seems everyone has it already.

There is no staggered anything yet...

At this point Verizon should skip right to 5.1 with the G3 and try to save some face.

Actually, should wait until 5.1.1 as there is still a memory leak in 5.1. Google has said they've fixed it, but they have not given a release date for the 5.1 fix.

I'll stick with 4.4 stock. Runs like a dream for me.

Android is starting to sound like Windows with known bugs pushed out in updates. Are they going to push updates on a single day and call it OTA Tuesday.

As you have stated the over the air roll outs are staggered. Maybe you can get the update by plugging your phone into a PC and using the LG PC Suite to check for an update to get it that way.

Sorry for my late reply.. busy with work and couldn't find my thread cause it got moved lol.. I tried the LG sync tool and still tells me I am up to date with version D85010F... o_O
