Help How to...on the DI?

I didn't see a thread with "how to's" so decided to create one. I did check the manual and some other threads first, but couldn't find answers to these questions.


1. When accessing my Yahoo mail (I have Yahoo Mail Plus) is there a way to both view my existing folders (other than Trash, sent, drafts, and outbox)? And is there a way to save mail I've read on the DI to a folder?

2. Under People, how do I change the primary contact# from say Mobile to Home?

I attempted to do the Friendstream last night, hated it, and deleted myself from it. This morning when I clicked the phone button from the homescreen, a bunch of my facebook friends are now in the list above the numbers with the facebook "f" and a picture of them.

How do I delete them all?

Under the People App, select the person, hit menu -> edit, then tap the button next to the number and change it. Then hit save.

Wait... i just reread your question and it may be something other than what I was answering. Did you want to change what it listed as or the order they appear?

Open the contact, and then long press the number you want, then select Set as Primary Number.

For your second question, go to Contacts, Tap on the Name you wish to change, Long Hold Call Home and Set as Primary Number.

How do i view attachments to my hotmail from the phone?

Not sure about hotmail, but in Yahoo, there is a link to press on if there is an attachment. Depending upon the type of file, it should open an app to read it in.

You can go into People, then Menu--->View and unselect Facebook contacts. This will remove all Facebook only entries from showing up in your contacts.

There might be another way, but you can always go into contacts, select the contact you want to remove from the favorites widget, select menu--->edit and press groups (which should be listed as favorites) and uncheck the favorites box.

Thanks for the tip on changing primary number.

Will look in faq-how-guide from now on. With over 100 pages of threads, I didn't find it before starting my thread.

How can you also put a link to message the same person in your favorites that u have a phone number for? I have my brother on my favorites but it dials him when i press it, i still want that one, but i also want to have one that opens a text to him when i press it
