Help Microsoft Health App in OZ Google play store?

I have just received a Microsoft Band from US (i'm in Australia) but need the Microsoft Health App to sync it to my Galaxy s5. Google Play wont let me install the app as I'm in Australia. Is there a workaround or do i have to wait for the Band to arrive in Australia and then the app in Google Play.

The MS product is not available in Australia, yet, and is currently US only. You won't be able to download the supporting app from Australia Google Play. Only way to get the US Play Store is to have a US credit card and US billing address attached to your account. Microsoft locks their products down like that.

You could try contacting the developers and ask that they send you an apk

I do it all the time. Never ran into any issues

It's not the issues. That's a good source of malware. You'd never know if the person who posted the apk inserted a malicious code.

Apkmirror is a trusted source for Google components and some other apps.

Otherwise I agree - don't sideload without knowing the risks.
