I use my phone for business so the calendar is very important for me. On my Samsung Galaxy S5, the calendar was great. Now that I've switched over to the S6 I'm realizing all the changes Samsung made to the calendar that has made it worse.
1) I use to be able to tap on an event and it would then bring up a box with all the event info. The S6 calendar does not do this, now when I tap on an event, it immediately takes me into the edit mode.
2) On the S5 calendar, I was able to tap on an event, which brings up a box with all the event info, then I could tap on the 3 little dots in the top right and hit "copy". It would copy the entire event so that I could paste it somewhere else. This option is not available on the S6 which is frustrating.
3) On the S5, if I typed a phone number in when creating an event, later I can go back and just tap on the phone number and it would go to the keypad with that number already there so I can just hit the call button. This is also no longer an option. On the S6, if I tap on the phone number, it just brings up the cursor in edit mode.
4) On the S5 calendar, I could tap on an event, then long press on the event info that I typed at the top and then tap select all, and it would select all the text, then I could tap copy. This is no longer an option on the S6. I can long press, then tap select all, but then it gives me no options after that to copy what was selected. How does that make any sense.
So far, these are all the things that Samsung has decided to change going from the S5 to the S6. Really, they just eliminated a bunch of useful options that has now made the S6 calendar difficult to use.
