Help how can i check if my phone is usable?

so i made a thread couple weeks ago regarding my lg g3 being blacklisted. now that i have a new one, im looking to sell this one as i heard it could be used overseas and i checked on this site and it says its not blacklisted for Verizon and Cricket in the Usa, and Telenor which is in sweden. Is there another site to guarantee and make sure this phone works before i go and put this phone on ebay?

Do all research before buying it black market....believe me i know its way cheaper. After all if you could get asking price you would. Unaware if it's stolen, bricked, viruses or it may totally legit but not work in your area.
SUPER BIG SCAM GOING IN US CITIES. People are bringing in new working cell phones, some are even willing to let you try it. There's no switch and bait, only problem is your new phone, cant be serviced in your area, so u may get caught with high roaming charges & and an area code several states Away. Like you were always told like we were all always told but for most we had to learn it the hard way if it's too good to be true it probably is and the money you save from buying it second hand or black market you'll end up making the difference in repairs or service

im looking to sell it, not buy. im just asking if this site is really telling the truth it works with verizon so i can avoid the hassle of problems if i do sell it
You can go to www.swappa.com and set up an account and check the esn on there. You can even sell the phone there. I think you get 3 free esn checks without selling a phone.

oh i see, the site that i checked on shows companies like verizon where its not blacklisted but i dont know if its real or not, i checked it on https://imeidata.net/blacklist
Seems to be legit. I really don't know though. I've always used swappa.com and have never had an issue with anything I sold. It's entirely up to you. And to my knowledge the phone will only be blacklisted for the carrier it was originally through. Again...don't quote me on that. Not sure if a phone blacklisted through Verizon would be able to be activated on sprint. No clue. Guess that's a chance the buyer is making when purchasing the phone.

When you sell the phone make it clear in the description that it's blacklisted for whatever carriers it is and that your not guaranteeing that it'll work on a different carrier. That alone will cover yourself. Buyer is taking that risk.

which option do you think its best to choose? i was thinking verizon since the site shows its not blacklsited there. but the model i have is orginally from bell which is the D852 model same as rogers.
Think we're talking about North American CDMA carriers here. I'm thinking is the phone unlocked from the carrier, and does it not have customized firmware and bloat for a specific carrier. Otherwise you might have problems.

No, it's a GSM phone and it's not going to work on Verizon.

Cricket and Telenor are GSM, so it'll work there until the carriers update their database sharing.

Not sure I'd trust a site that says - good news this phone isn't blacklisted on a carrier it's useless on, oh sorry we didn't mention that last bit.

Wouldn't that be a bit shady though selling a phone that can't be used as a phone unless you clarify that in the description.
I know if you sold me it I'd hunt you down and get my money back

im not the type to scam people. i was saying since the site i checked it on says its clean for verizon i wanted to sell it to a verizon user. but if its cricket or telenor, then ill have to go with that.
