Galaxy S6 64gb worth $150 more than LG G4?

Hi there - I'm in the market for a new phone. Replacing my 3.5 year old Droid Razr Maxx.

I can't decide between the Galaxy S6 64gb or the LG G4 with a 64gb card. 32gb is not enough for me since I carry a ton of music on my phone as I can't stream reliably at work.

The S6 always seems to get slightly better reviews, but I just can't decide if it is worth an additional $150. (Actually an additional $125 since I need to buy a new 64gb card if I go with the LG)

I will be on Verizon, if that matters.

I would appreciate any input. Thanks.

I just picked up the LG G4 myself on Monday, and I'm really liking it thus far. One thing you should be aware of is that there's currently a few promotions to sweeten the deal on a G4. LG is running a promotion for a free battery and 32GB SD card with all purchases (see here) which would give you 64GB of storage total between that and the 32GB internal storage, and you can get a $100 Best Buy Gift Card if you pick it up there on contract with Verizon (see here) - so you can take advantage of both deals just by buying at Best Buy. The LG G4 has a Snapdragon 808 as opposed to the Exynos in the S6, but I haven't noticed any lag at all with the G4, even running emulators and other stressful tasks. From my point of view, the expandable memory and replaceable battery in the G4 just isn't worth the tradeoff for a marginally better processor+OLED screen and shiny aluminum and metal construction (which is more liable to shatter when dropped anyway). The one quirk of the phone is the placement of the home/volume buttons on the back rather than the sides - I got used to this quickly but ymmv.

Hope this helps you with your decision!

FWIW, I absolutely HATED the "shiny aluminum and metal construction". The leather backed G4 (and even the plastic backed G3) are much better to hold, IMO. I had the S6 for a day and returned it immediately. I think the G4 is better in almost every way.
