Help Sending a mass SMS/MMS query

Ok, the thing is that I sometimes need to send a mass SMS/MMS to a number of contacts, but can't seem to access the contacts book to mark/check the ones I want to sed the message to.

Is there any way that I can do it? Instead of inputting it one by one? It's very annoying!?

Ok open a new message and the search bar across the top where you type the person's name to bring up there number well click the persons number and it will add them then just press the bar again and search for the next persons name keep adding people people then send the message.

Thanks for that, I already do that. I was wondering whether there was a way to access the contacts and select the ones I want rather than inputting it one by one.

I mean if I wanted to send it to about 3 people, I don't mind but I usually send the same message to about 25 people and it's hard to remember all the names at once!

Try a app called HandCent SMS from the Market, It has what you are looking for, Not only is it an amazing messaging app but if you want to send to a lot of people at once there is tons of features to accommodate you. With it you can create your own groups, and when you go to create a message and click on the "TO" field it gives you several options it shows the list of your contacts with boxes to select which ones you want and you can just scroll down the list selecting which ones you want or select groups that you created. It only takes a few seconds to send messages to everyone on your list or just a few. I have tried several messaging apps and this is the best one so far, It has a lot of extras to from different font packages to window styles. If you want to give it a try you won't be disappointed
