Not sure if anyone posted this or has mentioned this but this site will allow you to sell your electronics to get the EVO of course. Just a heads up also my hero dropped $20 in a month, so the longer you wait on items the less they are worth like anything else.

These sites are all rip-offs and want to pay you next to nothing. If you want to sell your phone and not be ripped off of course use e-bay or craigslist.

I agree with LatinP...you have a better chance of getting a reasonable return on your device by posting it on CL or EB. That's what I'm doing with my 8900.

Yep. Buy the Evo for $600 and then try to sell your Hero on Craigslist or Ebay. Just look at what it costs new and unsubsidized from Sprint and knock off money depending on how much wear and tear you can see.

Uhh... you sure that's accurate? Your link just takes you to the Zagg site, and doing a search on trade-in or recycle, turns up nothing. "Zagg trade in recycle" also turns up garbage results.

My Touch Pro 2 on the sprint buy back program said 82 bucks. I was going to sell it for a 100 to go towards the EVO but if Sprint will givem e 82 bucks I think I'll take that and not mess with CL or Ebay. I can't wait for the EVO

my original instinct will sell for 50 at best buy... i would check there too, i mean if i can get 50 for this total POS garbage you'll prob get a couple k for your pre's lol

Ive seen Pres on CL marked down from $175 to $125 and not move.
This is a viable option for sure. My Pre will be going with me to pick up the Evo but I don't know if it'll be coming back now.

My Sprint store said I can do the buy back but it's only for if your upgrading and getting a new phone. And I said oh ok I'll bring it in when I get the EVO in June. Then he said oh but the 82 bucks has to be used towards accessories 1st.

If you must sell your phone then sell it now on ebay and get a dumb phone to hold you over because the market will be flooded right after the evo comes out.

I do nothing through the Sprint store if I can help it. Only go there when my phone is totally hosed and needs replacement. then it's begrudgingly.

The link is to Best Buy. With a Pre-order, and a junk phone at home for temporary activation, no reason not to walk into the store get the gift certificate and use that toward the Evo immediately.

I still have my LG Lotus but my Touch Pro 2 has a chip on the side and I am afraid it won't sell. I have never physically dropped it like hard on concrete or I would know about it. But somehow I took off my top cover and on the side there's a small whole where it's chipped. It may have been in my lab coat pocket at work and I think maybe I went around the corner and hit the wall but I don't remember seeing pieces of the black bezel in my pocket so I am really clueless as to how this chip got there. Phone works fine though but noone will probably want it. I've had to reset it a few times too but I think something I was putting on my phone was causing it not to load. I am so ready to get the EVO.

I usually go through Telesales and when I got my Touch Pro 2 they gave me free activation and waived the shipping plus matched the 199 Verizon price. I was only in the Sprint store yesterday getting a new car charger mine went out and I was inquiring about the EVO and they were clueless or weren't allowed to tell.. But BB seems like my bet to save mailing in the rebate.

Sorry I do not shop at best buy, can you explain how does the "gift certificate" help?
