Help Dolphin HD Browser

Well I just downloaded the Dolphin Browser on to my Incredible today. I noticed that playing videos was actually better with putting it in the Iphone mode. In fact I cant even get it to load with the android mode, and the desktop mode while it has better quality because its loading the actual site video, the video seems to skip and frame rate. So sound comes before the lips or vice versa. On the Incredible the best video loader by far is You Tube player, that seems to be the best and I can even put videos in high quality mode. I wish I could play every video with the you tube video player as it is the clearest and sharpest video player out of everything that plays on the web. the 2nd best browser for playing videos is the skyfire browser, but that for me only works half the time and can seem like a pain. Anyone got any suggestions to making the video work better that would be great, coming from the moto droid to this phone for video reasons, am very unhappy with so far. I hope in the future that they can fix this problem of mine. Its just so pix pix-elated.

The incredible has flash light, not full flash. That is why on the desktop version, it is really laggy. The flash is not meant to play full videos. On the android version, I believe they remove all flash content in general. On the iPhone version, they don't actually use flash. They stream the data to your phone and it opens up a seperate streaming program.

Dolphin handles Flash Lite 4 MUCH better than the default browser. You can launch Flash videos in their native resolution in full screen, rather than zooming low res. like the default browser does. It also streams sites better than the default browser (they hang up a lot less).

Dolphin makes Flash Lite a better user experience. Still not perfect, since trying to launch Flash video menus in the video kills the video. Still better results than default browser.

Some Flash games also work and more Flash vid sites work as well. Dolphin is off to a great start for Inc.

Has anyone else noticed that if you set Dolphin HD as the default browser, when you click on a link or perform an action to open a URL in an email, the stock browser opens first, then quickly switches to Dolphin HD?

I wonder if this is a layer on the browser like Steel is? Seems too big of a file for a layer.

Advantages of Dolphin (so far)

1. When setting as desktop, more Flash sites work than default browser
2. Flash games work! I could not find any to work with default browser.
3. Flash video can be played in full screen in their native resolution (default browser zooms the page icon, whic is lower res).
4. Not only do Flahs games work, but they can be played in full screen too

Dolphin ROCKS!

There are some force closes of Flash content when in full screen, but it simply goes back to the Flash content page. Seems a multi-touch issue, perhaps.

www.pog.com seems one of the best Flash game sites as far as games that work and having some that are touch friendly.

Update: I just bought Dolphin. The effort is worth the money to me. Great job so far

I keep getting same error trying to load the videos. I did once get a blue screen commercial that played perfectly, but it looks like the actual hulu site blocking the site from playing it on our phones.

Hulu needs the full 10.1 Flash in order to work. Hulu picks up that we are running Flash Lite. Though 10.1 ready, it is not full featured 10.1

Rumor is there will be a Hulu app when Flash 10.1 is released for Android. The Android Dell phone is shipping with a Hulu app, but not sure if it is special to Dell or an app that will be in the market at some point.

Meh, tried it and uninstalled it. Skyfire is the best alt browser out there outside of the one that comes with the phone.
