Accessories HTC Extra Capacity Battery (1500mAh) for HTC DROID Incredible

I'm confused (more than usual) but everyone says the TP2 fits. Ok, yes, you are able to put it inside the phone and it works but I've seen a photo of where it was supposedly a TP2 battery and the battery cover does not completely close. There is like a 1mm or so of gap. Is this true and is this what you guys refer to as still fitting?

I just got my tp2 batter, it fits but the batteryncover doesn't close as well as it does with the stock battery. It's barely noticeable, but enough where I probably won't use the battery on a daily basis.

I have the TP2 battery in my Incredible, and I think what everyone is referring to when they say that it "fits" is that the battery cover completely "clicks" in when you close it... There is definitely that small gap on the sides that you see in the pictures, but my red/black gradient hard case still fits perfectly so this is a non-issue... If you use any sort of case I would recommend purchasing the TP2 battery because its half the price, and the added bulk will not effect your phone fitting into its case.

Letting everyone knows that orders the seidio 1750 battery, the back cover on the Inc will snap closed, but there is a very small gap on one edge of the Inc. I noticed it after I had the battery installed. It's at the top edge of the phone.

Just to be sure, I took out the 1750 and installed the stock batter again. No gap after snapping the cover closed on any side if the phone.

Like I said, it's small enough so it probably won't bother most people. If you didn't look close enough you probably wouldn't notice it. The reason I noticed it was because I can just see the red inside of the phone along the edge.

Seidio knows about it. I called them after I received the battery. In fact, I had the same problem when it was installed in my Eris. Anyone that has the 1750, you can see the battery isn't physically the same. The edges are rounded on the stock battery for one. Secondly, the 1750 is a hair thicker than the stock battery.

Like I said, the cover snaps on, but the gap is there.
