having issues. It got the airplane mode on the first week and has frozen on me twice. It is an updated cupcake phone. I have been on phone with tech support for a total of 4 hours so far with the phone. They blamed airplane mode on me (later i learned this is a known issue). I have only downloaded a few apps, task killer, craigslist, etc. I am being conservative with the phone. I missed several important phone calls during the freezes.
My 4 year old katana broke on April 26 and I needed a phone. Ran into sprint store and picked up the moment. I am not a techie and thought I would like to try a data/msg phone because i do use the internet often. I have become familiar with the phone and like the data/msg part, as well as the keyboard (can't see). I like the android platform, although the initial learning curve was frustrating. Can't afford ATT and iPhone.
It seems like the update to fix this phone may not come before my 30 day trial. But it seems the EVO might not make it in time either.
My options are to trade the moment in for another moment or other phone and this was recommended by tech support. My 30 day satisfaction policy will not renew with new phone.
I am wondering, time wise, how to work my 30 day trial to get the EVO. I am renewing sprint customer and had a $150 credit with Sprint to get phone and expired contract for the last year, which also renewed. I am also waiting to see if they apply my employee discount on the next billing cycle. I should be a premier customer by now. They are supposed to bill me for the moment. I paid nothing up front.
Any moment people trading their phone in due to lack of dependability issues? I chose moment because of the keyboard over the Hero.
