I have been using the HTC Incredible for the past week. I own a Tmobile Mytouch and while my wife has been out of town, she is using it right now and I am using her recently upgraded Verizon phone, which is the Incredible. This past weekend I've been on travel and I have had an absolute terrible experience with this phone. Its great, its fast, and quick and much snappier than My original edition Mytouch, but a phone is nothing without data connection. I live in Provo, UT drove to the Salt Lake City Airport, flew to Vegas, then to Tucson, Arizona. I got some 3G in Provo, and then nothing on the drive to Salt lake, on a major highway, nothing in Salt Lake, Vegas, and the three days I was in Tucson I was able to use the phone MAYBE 2 times for things outside of calling or texting. Even on my drive to the airport through the city in Tucson, I couldn't even use Google Maps because there was no data connection. And now while sitting in the Vegas Airport, I've got one bar.
Yes I have a data plan. Yes I know how to use the phone. So far for me Verizon absolutely sucks and I will never make the move to them even if they get an Android with a 2.0 Ghz duo core in it! Because there is no point in having the phone if it can't be used on the network. Tmobile has previously given me full bars in each of these places on my Mytouch on 3G and if ever 3G was spotty Edge was definitely full bars always!
I will be sticking with Tmobile for a long time until I see some sort of improvement in the user experience with my wife's extended use of the phone.
