Terrible User Experience

I have been using the HTC Incredible for the past week. I own a Tmobile Mytouch and while my wife has been out of town, she is using it right now and I am using her recently upgraded Verizon phone, which is the Incredible. This past weekend I've been on travel and I have had an absolute terrible experience with this phone. Its great, its fast, and quick and much snappier than My original edition Mytouch, but a phone is nothing without data connection. I live in Provo, UT drove to the Salt Lake City Airport, flew to Vegas, then to Tucson, Arizona. I got some 3G in Provo, and then nothing on the drive to Salt lake, on a major highway, nothing in Salt Lake, Vegas, and the three days I was in Tucson I was able to use the phone MAYBE 2 times for things outside of calling or texting. Even on my drive to the airport through the city in Tucson, I couldn't even use Google Maps because there was no data connection. And now while sitting in the Vegas Airport, I've got one bar.

Yes I have a data plan. Yes I know how to use the phone. So far for me Verizon absolutely sucks and I will never make the move to them even if they get an Android with a 2.0 Ghz duo core in it! Because there is no point in having the phone if it can't be used on the network. Tmobile has previously given me full bars in each of these places on my Mytouch on 3G and if ever 3G was spotty Edge was definitely full bars always!

I will be sticking with Tmobile for a long time until I see some sort of improvement in the user experience with my wife's extended use of the phone.

I just don't get the point of this post, especially creating a new thread. It sounds like your mind is made up, so what do you expect from a forum such as this? We are here to help out those having problems that wish to get help. If that, in fact, was your desire, then please ask for help on some specific issues. If not, well... you know.

I was on Tmo for seven years and after as many years with weak to no connection in many areas, VZW is worth the extra $30 a year for total family bill. You truly get what you pay for. I travel a lot and very nice to have 3G in remote places that I could not even get a signal with Tmo.

BTW, myTouch is a very weak device compared to the Inc. I used a G1 rooted and OC'd for almost 18 months. OC'd, it is faster than the myTouch and the G1 is poor compared to the
Inc.

added:

The bars are NOT an accurate source for actual signal on the Inc. Been posted many times, the bars are messed up on the Inc. No way you are really getting better signal with Tmo unless the Inc is screwed up or you are right next to a Tmo tower ;)

VZW has more 3G coverage area than Tmo has for 2G. You respectfully sound like (perhaps) a Tmo fanboy, since your results conflict with practical coverage logic. No offense :)
