UI layout being nuked by child

Hi,

My carefully laid out UI pages are being nuked almost instantly by my daughter. All my shortcuts go away, and the HTC widgets (Twitter, photo, weather etc.) are in their place.

I can't figure out what she's doing to achieve this in such a short space of time (is there a 'return to factory defaults' setting?) or how to stop it, while still letting her use apps on the phone.

Any help appreciated!

Once you get the phone setup the way you want hit menu then scenes and hit save. Just name your scene whatever you like and anytime she changes it go into the scenes again and select the scene you already saved.

Yeah, if you happen to change your Scene without saving your settings, then all your hard customizing work will be lost.

I learned this the hard way when, after setting up all my icons, I decided to check out what the other scenes were without saving

Will this also save bettercut shortcuts like they are? That would be huge if so.

My son keeps doing this to my wife's droid... (I'm smart enough to keep my Eris out of their little hands...)... Hope she's not reading this....
