Help Touchwiz problems

You can't, AT&T has to release a "fixed version".
call AT&T and start complaining big time.

Or, you might just do a FDR and force the phone to register again, and see if that will fix it...
unless you have some good backups, that will be a PITA.

I backup my apps to the SD card, and I keep backups of my contacts/SMS/calendar on my email account. I also keep a Nova HomeScreen backup on my email account.

When I acquired my Note 4, I just clicked on each backup that I made with the S5 and the Note 4 was looking just like the S5 in less than an hour.

The key part of this post for me is this, but it may not be clear why. Basically you can install a different launcher, at least until the problem with Touchwiz is fixed. The "Nova" referenced above is the Nova launcher. You can install the free version which is function limited or buy the full "prime" version (which I just did this week for 10 cents, which I assume was a special price). I can highly recommend this launcher.

Android gives you the option to customise your phone, so use this option to work around your problem. You may even end up sticking with Nova, because it is really rather good.

Regards,
Eric.

You are quite correct, I was in a fog...

I am using Nova Launcher Prime/Pro and it is worth every penny whether it is 10 cents, or 10 dollars.
Fully customizable as to how you want the HomeScreens to look/feel/perform.

But, beyond all of that, the Single Most Important feature for me.... BACKUPS to enable me to make all of my phones look exactly the same. And they all work exactly the same way.

I have two S5 phones and one Note 4. All use the same exact "backup" to enforce that commonality.

Every Folder I have, has the Same Exact contents... when I open a folder on any of my phones, I know what is going to be there.

backups are wonderful, and if you don't have one, you are screwed.

I hope this helps you guys. I has the same problem, and i use AT&T. Went to AT&T tech support, and they remotely checked my phone. They told me that the message i was getting was false, and as long as it didn't completely stop working, it was ok. They told me how to delete that annoying message, and so far, so good. Go to Applications>All>scroll down to Touch Whiz Home and wipe cache, and uncheck notifications. I did it, and so far, so good.:p
