Ah! I knew about the screen size and shatter proofness, but not the cores. I know it has the newest snapdragon, but I didn't know it was that big of a deal.

I was just really worried about getting ripped off, since I saw the battery was actually smaller and battery life is really important to me. I'm guessing only the Turbo 2 will get 6.0, which I'm really looking forward to!

FWIW: I have the Turbo 2, and had the Turbo1 before. The battery is a bit smaller in the T2, and after having the phone since release morning, I must honestly admit that it does not last as long as the T1. It still gets me through the day, but the T1 battery did last longer. The link that Thom posted from gsmarena shows at the bottom that the T2 has stereo speakers. This is definitely not the case. While the screen display on the T2 is very nice, I don't believe that it is as nice as the T1 was. The slightly larger screen of the T2 is not used fully with every application. The T2 is definitely a fast, smooth phone and the wifi is very strong and consistent vs the T1. No buyers remorse. I'm always game to try new devices and have been getting along very well with the T2.

I just got the Droid Turbo 2, then stumbled on this site. I didn't have the Turbo to compare to (going from the Razr HD), but I will say I am loving the phone. I did get $200 off, and wife got the Maxx 2 and got the same by trading in a $20 prepaid phone thing (we never even opened the box). $534 might be a bit high for the phone ($634 - $100 current sale price) but $334 is IMO a hard price to beat for the specs you are getting.
