I just received the notification for the update too for my virgin mobile stylo. I know I'll loose root if i update, which i don't wanna loose, but anybody know if it's safe to update while rooted and with xposed installed??? Or do i have to revert back somehow?
Absolutely not, NEVER take an OTA while rooted and much less with system mods like xposed. You have to go back to stock and I'm not really sure how to since I have the metro stylo but just a warning....
Hey guys just letting you know I'm porting this update to the LG H631 (TMO Stylo). I hope to get it up soon. It'll be mostly debloated but some apps like T-MO My Account will be on there and removable.

Guess your right, without root I'd feel naked. Don't even have a recovery for this phone yet. I'll wait till there is root and recovery, till then, anybody know how to turn off the update?

Booooooo!!! Of there's no root or xposed no one wants to go forward to at the same time go backwards . might as well be patient. Maybe @GameTheory has something in the works. He seems to be the only developer on here who knows what he is doing as far as root goes.
to be honest this phone is locked down for boost mobile. doesnt look like we will ever have a recovery. and with the time that has passed i think its forgotten and no longer takes any sort of priority. guess we will have to wait for the next big phone to come out and pray it is not locked down.
