Are you saying that you can't use the phone at all, or just can't use McAfee? If the latter, just uninstall it. This should not affect being able to use the device.

Then it looks like you will have to do a factory reset:

To perform a master reset using the hardware keys, follow these steps:

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the Power and Volume down keys on the back of the device.
  3. When the LG logo appears, release and then re-hold the Power key while continuing to hold the Volume downkey.
  4. The Factory data reset screen appears.
  5. Press the Volume down key to advance the cursor until Yes is selected.
  6. Press the Power key to confirm.
  7. The Erase all user data and restore default settings screen appears.
  8. Press the Volume down key until Yes is selected.
  9. Press the Power key to confirm.
  10. The device restarts. Wait until the process is finished.

Highly doubt that they would (or even could) do anything. It's a device problem, not a carrier issue.
Why wouldn't they help?
The OP has an account w/AT&T & proof that he/she is the rightful owner of the phone.
Also,in a way,it could partially be an AT&T problem,if the McAfee garbage is pre-installed & cannot be removed/disabled.
Whether AT&T technically has a responsibility to help the OP is debatable, but,I don't think they'd be so dismissive to just throw their arms up in the air saying "It's not our problem, you're on your own"............

YOU asked for help. Your problem is your fault (or McAffee's). Why anyone would even use this crap is beyond my comprehension. Several people have tried to assist you (out of pure kindness), and AMOCO provided you with a solution. Should you not accept the facts, I have no problem dismissing your issue altogether.

Have a nice day.
