Hi guys,My device is htc desire 616,4.2.2 JB(Latest for my device).Whenever I use apps like 9gag or Clean Master,My phone gives me a message that apps are not responding & asks whether you want to close, wait or report and there is an unlimited freeze which leads to rebooting the phone by removing battery.when the not responding message pops up,Not even the touch works to select the options.I reset my phone, formatted the sd card, and scanned my phone through antivirus. Was totally clean. But the problem still persists.Could it be hardware problem?Anyone having any leads on this pls reply.I'll be much appreciable.Thanks..!!
P.S Other apps like chrome, pinterest, gmail and games(Even the heavy ones like asphalt8 which is like 1.75gb) work completely fine.

I recommend uninstalling Clean Master. That app doesn't really help your phone. It is more trouble than help.

Antivirus apps aren't really needed either. That may be slowing your phone down alot. Uninstall that as well.

I don't know what "9GAG" is but I'd uninstall that too. Some of the reviews report crashing and freezing.

Hi there,
Thanks for your advice. My fb app and fb messenger app started crashing recently as well.Do you think that Jelly bean is being outdated.Perhaps the new updates of the apps could not be compatible with 4.2.2 jelly bean.Any thoughts?Thanks...

FB app and Messenger will definitely slow down your phone. They are both memory hogs and data hogs. Instead of the official FB app, I use an app called Tinfoil for Facebook. It is basically a shortcut to the browser version of FB. Lighter and less memory is used. Or I use the browser directly and access FB that way. The official FB app bloats into a big memory hog after a while. I don't have an alternative for Messenger. I don't like to use it but many people contact me via FB Messenger. No real alternative because they won't change to Hangouts, Whatsapp or Viber.

Having Jellybean 4.2.2 shouldn't be that much of an issue. Is there an update for your phone? I know nothing about your model.

I was suffering similar symptoms, on a different device (4.2.2 ) , and found out that clean master was lying about what it was doing

If it was me... I would make sure I had a backup of all my photo's, contacts accounts details etc... and then hard reset the device. Copy back the contacts and data, but don't restore the apps...

Then install the apps individually... (making sure you don't install CM... and leave Facebook till last.)
Then you should be able to see which app is causing the problem....

Look bro..first I would get rid of the asphalt8..that game is heavy as hell..infinite megabits..second like you've been told..delete the fb app..we aren't saying not to use the fb..just open it from your browser..along with other apps..I had the same issues of "force to close"..once you do that..you'll see big difference..
