As stated before... The OP ROM is most stable. But look a few pages earlier... I posted the link. Can someone drop a link to the latest cm12.1 zip, VM apn fix, and gapps. I know its a lot but I can't find it.
Cameringo Works too, but the video aspect ratio is waay off.Vivovideo works for recording video too, frame rates a little better than camu.
Downside is it limits to 5 minutes of video.
I know this isn't really any help, but just for future reference, the blue alien is named SidSo I downloaded the December ver from page #87. I followed the install instructions to the letter and after that tried every other conceivable combo to flash this. Every time it will boot up, blue alien shows up, then setup will load the 87 apps. After that it loops back to the blue alien (now longer on this screen), then repeats the process over and over.
I tried without wipes, with selective wipes, and full wipes. Clean flashes and dirty flashes, then followed with and without cache/dalvik wipes. Also tried factory reset from recovery. No dice.
It almost seems as if the SystemUI is borked, since always looping at that spot. Do I need to pull anything from the Sept build? Is there something I'm missing or forgetting?
EDIT. After the phone is booted and loops back to the CM head, it will do very slight vibrations (1 is double short and other vibration is one same duration) in a group and 5-6 seconds later it repeats over. When "android is starting", vibrations stop. Then it loops again.
Not Sid Vicious!?!? LolI know this isn't really any help, but just for future reference, the blue alien is named Sid
it might mean a wrong Google Apps is installed.
No, it only does that to me on all of the CM11 roms. Even before I flashed GApps. It's not doing it on this ROM though (Sept build)Im not sure if this was already answered (cause there are 90 pages...) my keyboard is not working for some reason, it says keyboard ASOP has stopped??? Need help please
EDIT: I think i installed wrong gapp? IDK im pretty sure i got the right one, can anyone confirm or show me which one i have to install?
Well I thought this was the December build, then I looked at the title again and saw 1/12/15. Well, I couldn't get that to boot anyway (see my posts above).https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95897840722641185
This is the build that had the working camera.
I was talking about only the camera when I had the issue in may 2015 with my previous volt.Well I thought this was the December build, then I looked at the title again and saw 1/12/15. Well, I couldn't get that to boot anyway (see my posts above).
So the December build is the one in @spock1104 post on page 87?? What changes were made from the Sept build for the December one?? I've got a working front and rear camera without any green tint on Septembers, but no NFC or screencast. Everything else is working great!!! (I'm on the September build right now.)
This is an early post, but I flashed it and my camera works. I've been using the 1/11 build, but 1/12 seems to do the trick on the green camera. Thanks for posting this!https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95897840722641185

If that can be figured out, I'll remix the roms again. This is an early post, but I flashed it and my camera works. I've been using the 1/11 build, but 1/12 seems to do the trick on the green camera. Thanks for posting this!

Yes you can use/install another keyboard, if you like. I don't have a link, but SMART KEYBOARD is really good - plus its highly customizable. Smallest memory footprint of any of them too.
Which build are you using? Also what is the full name of the GApps package you downloaded? Did you get it from opengapps.org?
You need 5.1 gapps, arm version
So the camera will be they the only update to the roms? Or are you going to incorporate anything else in?If that can be figured out, I'll remix the roms again.
