Help Note 2 replacement battery

I purchased a replacement battery for my Note2 , the battery charges in the phone, but will not fully turn the phone on , any idea's?

It's either a bad battery or a defective charging circuit in the phone itself. If I were you, I would remove the battery, plug in the phone and see if it powers up with a known good charging cable. If not, the phone itself is suspect.

My old battery is not charging fully. I assumed it was the battery, but your saying it could be the charger or the phone. I'll check the charger. Thank you
