Astro File Manager from the market place (free) is very good.

i dont know if this is exactly what you were after, but i opened the market, then clicked home button, then tapped 'downloads' (middle option). this showed me all the apps i had downloaded.

if you want just the internet, go into the internet browser (im using the one that the phone came with cause i think its great) then click 'home' button, then tap 'more' option, and the halfway down there is a 'downloads' option
