I know nothing about changing keyboards. If I do change to that one and it still doesn't work, do you know what I would need to do to change back? Thanks

You have two options for reverting back to the original keyboard:
1) Uninstall SwiftKey,the original keyboard will automatically work again without any further settings adjustments.
OR
2) Go to SETTINGS > LANGUAGE & INPUT & select the original keyboard.
Once you install SwiftKey,it will automatically take you through the steps to set it up,takes just a few minutes.

Any questions regarding set-up can be answered on SwiftKeys' help section, just select ANDROID:
https://support.swiftkey.com/hc/en-us

Or,feel free to ask around here @ Android Forums:
