Mms issues with desire on t-mobile usa

I have configured my APN settings to work on T-mobile US but I cannot send or receive MMS only texts. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!

howdy, im in a similar situation, i live in the UK. also on T-mob i can send MMS but when i recieved 1 i had to got to T-mob website to view it and only for 14 days, any suggestions on how to recieve on handset will be appreciated

Yes I can use T-mobile edge for the web and apps and I can send and receive text messages. I just cannot send or receive pics. I programmed the APN to wap.voicestream.com and that made it possible to use the web.

After no help from T-Mobile or HTC I solved it !!!!! Go into APN press menu then enter this info and save:

Name: T-Mobile US
APN: epc.tmobile.com
Proxy: 216.155.165.050
Port: 8080
Username: (leave this blank)
Password: (leave this blank)
Server: (leave this blank)
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.050
MMS Port: 8080
MMS Protocol: WAP 2.0
MCC: 310
MNC: 260
APN Type: (leave this blank)

This will make your internet and mms work but it takes a while for the pic message to send be patient!

I assume you've bought a UK Tmobile handset?

yeah it was UK but unbranded sim unlocked from the factory.
There were no settings there at all I had to set them up completely lol.

Have you tried to get 3G working on T-mobile US? The maximum I was able to get was EDGE.

You wont make a EU Desire work on anything better than EDGE in the US.

We use different frequencies for our 3G to you guys

My device is HSPA/WCDMA: 900/2100 MHz
As far as I see - T-mobile uses same frequencies in US

No, T-mobile US use 1700mhz
