OK, so I'm really new to all this and I'm having trouble figuring this out. I've been doing a lot of reading on all this and the fact is this isn't very user friendly. I could use some help if anyone is interested. Here's what I'm trying to accomplish.
Basically event reminders at a specific time, in a specific location, during a specific period. I work in the gulf on a schedule of 21 days on and 21 days off. So I want reminders set only while I'm at work. So for instance...
I come to work February 10th - March 2nd. While I'm in this area, I need a reminder set at say... 06:30am to do a specific task (paperwork, tank soundings, etc). But I don't want or need this reminder when I'm at home.
So I've been playing with a couple things and I know none of it works. How can I set this up to remind me at 06:30, to do whatever, only while at work, and only during my scheduled time on.
I know this may seem like child's play to most of you guys, but for the rest of us, it's like reading ancient Greek.

Welcome to Android Forums.

One solution ...

Use the calendar app.
Schedule all the events the first day you will be at work.
When you make the entry choose to have it repeat every six weeks.

Do this for each day in the 3 weeks you will be at work.

The events will then appear every other 3 week period.

Damn! That's a good idea. I never thought about that. I feel like that's something I should have considered lol. Thanks a lot man.
When you say the calendar app, you are talking about the native Google app on the phone, and not something inside Tasker? I know it'll work either way, but I'm just curious.
